The kids loved it
Watched this with my two kids and we all loved it. Quite surprised actually as Eddie can be hot or cold. But I would rate this as a great family family bug thumbs up

Eddie Murphy is brilliant ....
... the movie is quite good. I'm a fan of Eddie and of Sci-fi, so had to see this. I agree with most of the reviews here it is entertaining, but mainly for a younger audience.

Terrible
Me and my mates walked out of this film when we went to see it. A dreadful 'comedy', Eddie Murphy should be ashamed. No wonder its on offer. Only for those desperatley bored or younger viewers.

meet dave - well made film which had all my family laughing
well made ,well acted and full of laughs, myself , mywife , and my 2 kids watch it and enjoyed a good laugh , think someone was also crying near the end . well done keep making them like this well enjoyed

I seen meet dave when i was in palm springs(usa) in the summer before it came out in britain :O and i tho it was rubbish to be honest i didnt like it at all boring etc ..

A real laugh!!!!
Iknow it was really expensive but what the hell i love eddie murphy he is always in great movies so i had faith i watched it with my sis it was so funny litterally i wet my self from laughing so much/Really good .YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!!!!!!:)

I've seen some films in my time, none as terrible as this
I used to have a lot of respect for Eddie Murphy, but after watching this film, I lost all faith. It's a boring film, unfunny, the usual "I-can-play-as-many-characters-as-I-want" gone wrong. Avoid this film, kid's won't even enjoy it!
