Very good film

its the best film,best actor brad pitt and ultimate action.

This film is unmissable. Yes it may not be that touching but the action makes up for it plus perfectly assembled cast. The story is brilliantly told and it has possibly the best costumes i have seen. Don't bother reading the reviews and see for yourself. Brilliant film.

This is probably one of the best films I have seen. People say it has been cast terribly but the tensity and suspense was truly amazing. My only negative is there was way too much stripping! That spoilt it a bit for me but it is still a good movie.

An incredible film, well worth watching. My one criticism is that by cutting out the gods, the film is neither one thing nor the other, as while it is a complete write off as a reflection of Mycenaean culture, it is not a myth centred picture either. Nevertheless fantastic cinamatography, excellent use of mood and setting, loosely based on the illiad. Highly enjoyable.

A terrible adaptation of what could have been a truly epic film. If you read the many translated books by Homer, you will know that a huge part of this story is about the role of the gods. There were a few mentions in the dialogue but that was it. Terribly casted. Achilles was a warrior, a huge god like man. Instead we get a wimpy Brad Pitt. They needed the guys who produced and directed the tv show Spartacus to truly come close. Wasted hours watching this and minutes writing this. Out!

I love this film and I'm only 13, I like the mysticalness, also you can I, imagine more so it's on going :))

I'd say one of my favourite films. A must see film for everyone - no matter what genre you like. Fighting, cinematography, dialogue - everything's great. An absolutely epic film!

On the whole it's O.K. after you've seen Gladiator it seems to be copying a bit. BUT some of the fights have amazing skill, for the fights I give ***** but over all it's not as good as the trailer makes it look.

Great film but they stole aload of lines from gladiator!
