Description
A battle of gigantic proportions is looming in the neon underground of New York City. best street film
Saw this at the cinema when it first came out….wanted a warrior vest but my mum said no (sad but true!!) now I'm in my 50's I still want a Warrior vest but now my wife says no-is this history repeating itself??
Spawned several film copies but these were all pale in comparison to the original and in my mind the best "street" film esp those reprehensible dance films!!
If you haven't seen this classic….why the hell not????
Favourite character has to be Ajax, at least he went down swinging!!

People rag on this from the acting to the script on the the directing....but....I don't see anything wrong with this film at all.

An all time classic,first watched this film as a young lad and absolutely loved it,still have it on VHS and can't help but get out the old video player every now and again and stick it on,it never fails to impress,great film with a great soundtrack,nowhere to run is still one of my favourite songs.a must see film! Warriors . . . Come out to play

The warriors
This is an iconic movie with a largely unknown cast at the time. It captured the imagination of every movie goer and made the idea of New York very exiting. Not faithful to the Sol Yurick book in any way at all but that doesn't matter. An amazing sound track and a superb hour and a half of adventure. A real must see

Superb movie!
The Warriors may have a bit of pantomime with its colourful gangs and stylised tough violence, but its a great watch! I remember it fondly for the effect it had on me at 13, seeing the leading characters face casual violence everywhere. it's a grim but compelling entertainment and if it's dated I don't care. Gangs of New York
I first saw this on the big screen 30 years ago. It hasn't aged particularly well but there is still a strong sense of menace running through it, as well as themes of love, loyalty and injustice. Remarkably, the film still feels relevant and that's worrying; though the violence is, thankfully, confined to feet, fists and baseball bats. It's begging for a remake...

Come Out To Play
One of the best films ever. Great story though if you have read the book and not seen the film, don't be expecting it to resemble the book.
Its full of quotable lines and memorable characters and even 30 years after its release it seems fresh.

Personaly, i love it!!
This film is amazing and i love it... i played the Game of this a while back and wondered if i could ever find the film, its ruff and tuff but short and simple...i didnt lose track of the storyline at all!
