Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) is a Wall Street yuppie, obsessed with success, status and style, with a stunning fiancée (Reese Witherspoon). He is also a psychotic killer who rapes, murders and dismembers both strangers and acquaintances without provocation or purpose. Based on the controversial novel, the film offers a sharp satire of the dark side of yuppie culture in the '80s, while setting forth a vision that is both terrifying and chilling.

Christian is a very talented actor though much younger than the late Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins his ability to fit into any role puts him in a different league than either of them.

I have no doubt that Mr Bales name will eventually begin with Sir.

Fantastic story! The acting from Bale is excellent, and he pulls off the character really well.

One of my favourite movie of all time.

When I saw this movie in 2001, I just discovered Christian bale and followed his movies very close from then.

He delivered an amazing performance and showed his acting skill in this masterpiece.

The emotion he showed in the classic business card scene made this movie.

Set in the 80's it add a nice touch to the story line.

I would recommend this movie to all cinefil.
