I laughed once! I normally don't leave a review but this film is that bad. It didn't even raise a smile, a heart felt flutter or deliver the moral storyline with impact.
Had to stop watching it after 20 minutes, it was unbearable

Had to stop watching it, it was unbearable. The main character is simply annoying, rather than charming, the jokes are incredibly overworked and not funny.

I love this film so much- I've lost count how many times I've watched it - but it never gets boring! It's a film that will really touch your heart. It made me laugh and cry, and I would recommend it if you want to do the same! X

I've got all the shopaholic series in books. I love them they are my favourite books but this film is just terrible. It's boring and not that funny at all.

This is a great film in many ways, it's funny but also touches on real life problems.
I'm sure everyone once they turn eighteen is tempted by that overdraft... the chance to have things NOW and pay later sometimes is all too easily done! This film will make you laugh, cry and worry along with the adorable lead "Becky" played by Isla Fisher as she tries to balance her friend, her love interest with her boss, a "stalker" and of course, an addiction to shopping.
And with the talking maniquins? Maybe a different kind of addiction is implied here! I joke, in all seriousness this is a heartwarming film and is 100% worth the £6.99 and the time you'll spend watching and rewatching this great film!

This film is awesome! I watched it at my house and I've now bought it on my iPod. The American Becky is just as good as the English Becky. This film is so good. If you are contemplating about whether to buy it or not, definitely buy it. You will not regret it.

I loved this movie, as much as I love the books!!!! Isla Fisher is brilliant as an American Becky but still has all the charm and sense of humor as the British Becky from the books!!!!! A must have to any one who loves the books!!!!!!!!! And a must have for any self confessed shopaholics!!!!!

This was a great movie, romantic and funny and brilliant acting. BUT if you have read the shopholic books and expect this movie to be like the book you will probably disappointed. because the storyline and writing of the movie is good but it is a lot different from the book.
So this is a good movie that i would recommand you watch but don't expect it to be like the book.

I've watched it with my boyfriend and he loved it. We both fell in love with Becky Bloomwood. Do not listen to Rotten Tomatoes above, they are a bunch of cynic critics.
After watching it 3 times, I bought the two books the film's taken from, and if not at all identical to the film, they made me laugh out loud at every page.
I just watched it again this morning. It's just pure indulgence.

I bought this film mainly because my teenage daughter enjoyed it and I was expecting a great and unforgetable entertainment. However I found it shallow and disappointing especially as it costs a lot.
The only thing is that Isla Fisher looks great and it is a happy entertainment but you will forget about this film immediatelly after seeing it and you will not want to see it again. It is no no for more serious film fans.For me 2 out of 5.

This was really bad. The comedy was lame mostly involving Fisher being clumsy or dippy. Her character was not in the least endearing. Dancy is utterly wasted here. I like a rom- com but this was neither. Don't know what the other reviewers were thinking to rate it highly. Save your pennies for better funnier sweeter romantic comedies.

well I LUVED the book, i have read all of the shopaholics series and i thought they were great, funky,fashionable, what more can i say.
The books are fabulous but the film is like a new thing all together, its like a new version of confessions of a shopaholic, its like all the books roled into 1 but with bits added.
The film is not as good as the book, so i suggest u read the books to get a better view of the story.

I was going away to bording school in london so had to catch a train there and thought might aswell get a film off here for the journey, I couldn;t have picked a better film.
All the way through Isla Fisher is just amazing, funny and very serious, its defniatly one of those films that will make you smile afterwards and is definatly worth buying,

This has to be one of the best 'feel good' films of this year. I could watch it over and over and over, the characters are likeable, the story is lifelike and believable and the romance is soooo sweet. Isla Fisher must be one of the best actresses of 09!
