A Film Of It’s Time

I saw this years ago, very much a film of it’s time, and not so bad because of it. A romanticised telling of the Arthurian legend, very entertaining with some great action scenes. Yes the dialogue and plot is somewhat clunky, but be honest, what would you expect? Just let it go and enjoy it for what it is.

a bizarre film

what a strange film. great visuals but a some what badly made plot. acting is over the top and the film looks crude. but is very entertaining, if you like patrick Stewart then this is the film for you he just steals the film in some of the most hilarious acting.

Great film but not a "U"

A really good film that's reasonably faithful to the legend. But it's not a kids film because of some rather sexy scenes and graphic violence. Obviously iTunes have got the "U" classification wrong. I've complained but they don't seem in a rush to change it.

Excellent film!

iTunes have the certificate wrong, it should be '15' not 'U'!

Excellent film, I first saw this back in the 80s and instantly was amazed by it. It may have slightly dated by todays standards but it still ranks as the best telling of the Excalibur legend. Unmissable!
