Description

I love this film so much!!
This is a fantastic film it simply amazing! This film always puts me in a good mood its funny, the story line is incredible and the cast is just superb! No one could of played the characters any better other than Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin! There is nothing wrong with this film! Everyone needs to see this film I have fallen in Love with it! This film will leave you laughing out loud! And when the Director is Nancy Meyers this film is going to be good! Cannot praise this film enough! Watch this! This film is special!xxx

Disappointed!
I bought this film as I was goin to go away and it downloaded and then it suddenly stop just at the end and popped up saying there was a problem with downloading it. It does say on it tap to continue I have tapped so many times I have lost count. I really don't know what is wrong with it and it has charged me for it but I can't even watch it! Rather Disappointed that I can't watch it was rather looking forward to it! I am not to sure if this is a review or not but what else I am meant to do........?

Fantastic
I absolutely love this film. Brilliant acting, brilliant storyline and brilliant actors. Very touching in places but also very funny. I cry at the end of the film every single time I watch it. I love Alec Baldwin, he plays a very likable character and I would of chosen him over Steve Martins character any day!!! Well worth watching, a definite favourite of mine.

Don't bother.
Dull as dishwater - if you have some paint to watch dry, or perhaps a bit of fluff to pick from your jumper - invest the time into that rather than bother with this vanilla overrated garbage. During the first hour you will wonder why you bothered, and by the second half you will be reading this review.

A let down
I wasn't impressed! The laughs were sparse and infrequent, the plot was largely implausible and the resoulution was predictable. If you want to see all the laughs watch the trailer!

Funny? not really!!
This must be purely a girl's film as I found it incredibly boring.
I kept stopping and starting ti because I could think of much better things to do with my time....even cleaning the kitchen floor.

Did I Miss Something?
I rented this from reading the great reviews-but I think I must have missed something as I felt like fast forwarding it!! It just seemed a little predictable and drawn out.

Loved it!
Hubby and I watched this last night while on holidays. A good belly laugh was the end to a perfect day. I would imagine those who have been through a divorce might struggle with some of this if they are still a little raw, but for those who can appreciate life through a funnier lens (even after a painful divorce, or no divorce at all) then it is worth it for the chuckle. Loved the journey, loved the growth, loved going to bed with a happy heart after laughing till I cried.

If you have Some life experience then you should really appreciate this film, I'm a bloke who found it so funny, moving and quite uncanny. Enjoy this very clever film

Surprisingly hilarious!
I found myself unexpectedly laughing out loud at this film, (which when wearing headphones looks daft!) it was so catch you off guard kind of funny. I think this film is wonderful! It's a great film for a giggle :)
You should definitely watch this if you haven't laughed in a while!!

Disappointing..
The trailer was very appealing indeed.. which led me to high expectations of the film. Disappointed with the general film. Great actors.. okaish story line.. but something was missing. Nowhere near in my top films this week or month.

If you dont like this you're just not old enough to understand
Mid to late 40's, seperated? Divorced? Starting your life all over? To really appreciate this film you need to have experienced all of these things. At times I found it quite emotional and painful to watch, but in a good way if you understand me! Its funny and its hopeful and it deals in a very grown up way with a lot of issues many opf us face and makes them bearable in a brilliantly witty script. I loved this film. And I'm a man! Don't listen to the moaners and the professional reviewers, watch it and enjoy it. If you don't feel better about being who and where you are at the end, I'll eat my keyboard!

So funny!!
Wasn't really expecting much from this film, as the majority of the cast are oap's, but laughed out loud throughtout the film. The soon to be son in-law was one of my favourite characters. Brilliantly cast movie, definately in my top 10. Hope when I'm at their age my life could be as exciting and as " complicated ". Plot is good, comedy timing excellent and the acting is great.

Absolutely Great
I had a great time watching this movie. I think it hit a great balance between great laughs and touching moments, which anyone can relate to. An uplifting movies with appealing messages behind it. Nancy Meyers produces another winner, once again!

Not as funny as this directors last film "Somethings gotta Give" But all the cast were good ! Steve Martin was not a good choice, id have stayed with Alec Baldwin lol
