After directing classic '60s westerns such as Ride The High Country with Randolph Scott and Major Dundee starring Charlton Heston. Peckinpah returned to the west with his most gruesome, action-packed, star studded western he ever made. Easily the best of his career, and extremely well acted. The Wild Bunch is a picture that stays in your memory until the day you die.

A film that Tarentino loves

This is such a underated wild western film. Superb cast and well acted. But the story is awsome and Sam Peckinpah really pulled all the stops out to deliver such a good film.
Give it a try if you never seen it. Must admit the final shoot out is amazing and you can understand why Tarantino always said if he ever wanted to make a wild west film this would be the one....
