It's like somebody tries to tell a joke but the timing is all off. The ingredients are all there but it's all too stale, too save, too cliche. Video game like storytelling I'd say.

Didn't think it was possible to make an A-Team movie, but this was brilliant. If your a fan of the original TV series, then you will enjoy this film.

I loved this film. The pure humour had my family laughing at parts. I especially loved the whole Mexico helicopter fight and Murdocks escape. Funny, fast, action packed and full of surprise. Liam Neeson is fantastic as Hannibal Smith. Love the actors and love the plot. Be warned, there is a bit after the credits.

I just loved this movie and specially the tank scene where they almost tried to fly the tank and the helicopter scene....

I used to watch the A-team on tv a lot growing up as a child so i knew i would be comparing the new actors to the old and although they can't compare to the original cast of the tv series this new bunch certainly weren't as bad as i thought.

The film in general is ok, would recommend renting rather than buying though.

Implausible as the original series was (shoot outs in which no one died, the constant availability of welding equipment and materials, etc) it worked well in the short format - any weaknesses in story or script were generally (in my view) compensated for by Mssrs Peppard, Schultz, Benedict and T.

So, whilst credit is due for the pretty good casting (Liam Neeson is probably as good in the GP role as anyone taking it on the could be, but the others contribute too) it's the utter daftness (maybe laziness) of the plot that, for me at least, rendered this a plan that didn't quite come together.

I'm 15 minutes in to this movie and they're still showing the credits. Each time a new credit shows up on screen, it's punctuated by the sound track. I deleted this rubbish at 18 minutes. I have nothing more to say. Save some money... ignore this movie.

Have never wathced the original TV series but thought this was one of the best action films I have seen in a long time, with a real good story line and ending! worth a watch or rent for an action film fan!

How Liam Nesson allowed himself to be in this drivel defies logic. Rubbish on an epic level and let's face it the original series was pretty bad!!

Storyline was original, acting was up to standard during the length of the film, action scenes were done well, CGI was very average though which let me down but it doesn't make the film any less enjoyable. Honestly, original and very well done.

Funny, colourful and rammed full of action, this is a movie that demands respect for how the actors portray characters that already exist .

Best not to be taken seriously, as some of the action sequences bend the rules of plausibility but that is why this movie is so enjoyable.

Great fun, especially when watching with a group of mates.

So long as you don't take it too seriously. Like the TV series this is hammed up to the max. Its cheesey its unoriginal, its ridiculous but its also great fun and if you liked the TV series like I did as a kid then this movie will not disappoint I think.

It is a good film and I am glad I watched it but it wasn't the A Team, it was an A Team. They were good it was fun, but the A team was all about helping the hapless 90 year old mechanic because he won't fix the drug runners car and they are going to abduct his hot granddaughter if he doesn't give them the rights to the uranium mine. This was about clearing their own names.....a bit selfish don't you think. You'll like it, I liked it. Everyone else seemed to like it too but it feels like a bit of a deviation.

Just a big bag of awesomeness from start to finish. If you grew up watching the original nonsense in the 80's as i did, then you really will love this movie. Each actor is definitely suited to their part and have put their own slant on it rather than trying to copy the greats that went before them. A sneaky glimpse of Dirk Benedict (Face) is quite amusing but hopefully we can see Mr T in the sequel!!!

I am a fan of the TV series after growing up with it. I was ready to be very disappointed with this film because of the complete tragic re-make of the Dukes of Hazzard which was an insult to my eyes.

But, I am glad to say that this film was good. I really liked it. I liked the (pre) a-team storyline, I liked the spin the writers/directors placed on it by making it more violent that the TV series. Now, It is not the A-Team of old, the way I can describe it is: It is a film based on a TV Series that was around in the 80's, about 4 escaped military prisons who were wrongfully imprisoned, well you get the idea.

Do not expect 'THE' A-Team.

Now, I can't tell you that it was amazing, it isn't. All the characters have tried to follow the originals, but with a slight slant to them. I can cope with Murdocks slightly more insane approach, and at times he was great, I can cope with Hannibal's more macho image, but I can not forgive the mess Rampage Jackson made of BA. This is the only downside I make to the film. He was crap, both as an actor, and as his approach to the character. I will let you make your own mind why.

I would recommend this film to any fan of the original series, or fans of action films. It is good, funny, full of bangs, some good one liners. The story line has its off moments, but holds together well. Watch it with an open mind, but just don't expect the original.

It's awesome - they've done an excellent job of keeping all the nostalgic nuances of the original 80s series while updating it with a more modern theme and making it an action packed, edge of your seat journey back in time!

The only criticism I have is that the finale action sequence is a little over the top, but that's what the A-Team is all about, so I can't rate the movie down for it. A definite must see!
