Description

One of the best films of all time

Mesmerising performances from the All-Star cast of Stanwyck, MacMurray & Edward G. Robinson, a funny, dark, witty and chilling script, co-written by Chandler & Wilder and a plot-line based on true-life murder(s).
What's not to like?
When I first saw this film on TV back in the late 70s, as a young man it changed my life. I immediately wore a hat, ditched the flared jeans and donned a suit and started using a match struck alight on my thumb nail. I wanted to be as cool as Neff, as smart as Keyes and I fell in insanely in love with Phyllis.
I've now bought it 30 yrs later. It hasn't grown old, I'm thinking of moving to California.
If this ISNT one of the best films of all time AND the best and genre defining Film Noirs, please tell what is! Postman Rings is good, but this is better imo.
