chester gould is the a great comic artist of dick Tracy comics and warren Beatty brings his comics to life into this lovely movie. Mind you I have read some strips of his comic but you can see it's a pretty faithful and loved adpation of his comic book but it's a great start off if you want to get into dick Tracy or just his character in general

It's about a great detective named dick Tracy along with his police comrades to stop the mobs and a little boy named the kid witness a murder by a mob gangs and big boy caprice behind it all and plans to take over the town and owning a illegal club bar by murdering the owner lips and taking breathless mahoney and along with it trying to own everything for himself. And dick Tracy struggling with his job and struggling with his sweetheart tess but there's more mystery in this story of all the characters.....

The movie It's action packed, funny parts that will make you giggle like a ten your old boy getting candy, parts that will go wow didn't see that coming!

The visuals are absoultely beautiful the colours the backgrounds the characters costumes are all colourful filled with reds, yellows, greens, purples, blues and the backgrounds with colourful CGI and artists paintings to evoke and to capture the comic artwork which it truly does capture the comic book makes you feel like you want to live in it...

this movie is a work of art and its was made of love for Chester Gould artwork and his comic you can tell warren beatty loved his comics and his artwork and knows how to make a wonderful and most colourful and a comic book movies to life it's the only shame there wasn't no sequels for this if only disney's touchstone company made more hopefully in the future they will cuz this is a underrated movie and it's a hidden gem. If you can get Chester Goulds comics or even getting the movie adaptions comics you'll be in for a treat... you won't regret watching this beautiful film 👌
