With Dalton gone, Brosnan was finally here, after nearly becoming Bond for TLD. Thankfully he wasn’t as we got to give Dalton a go. It was a new dawn for Bond after 6 years out in the legal wilderness. Brosnan was a mixture of Connery/Moore which gave his tenure a modern touch with a classic feel. He had the rough but suave look of Connery and delivered the comic lines like Moore. Sean Bean was a good choice for 006 and the plot twist keeps you on your toes. The tank chase is good, despite being a little inflated in opinions, but it’s the characters and story that give Brosnan a warm welcome into the series...
