Description
Based on the novel "Cross" by James Patterson whose character was popularized by Morgan Freeman in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, Tyler Perry takes over as Dr. Alex Cross. The Homicide detective and psychologist meets his match in a serial killer (Matthew Fox). The two face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits in this taunt and exciting action thriller.

Watch this movie once you've watched all of the other movies in the world.
It's really bad. Not even good bad. I'm sure the whole cast and crew thought this was a good idea but at some point along the line it took a really bad turn.
On the plus side Matthew Fox rescues this film somewhat.

Utter rubbish ...
I don't normally write film reviews but had to say something here to stop others wasting their hard earned money. It's utter rubbish. Bad acting and poor script . Saw it was bad after 5 minutes, annoyed at 15 minutes in , and stopped and deleted it after half an hour. iTunes should offer full refunds for films that are watched for less than 30 minutes !! A total rip off.

What a dreadful film. Stilted acting and delivery gives viewers zero interest in what happens to the "good guys" - stopped halfway through and don't care to know the end.

Serious tosh. Cringing cliche ridden nonsense. Please save your money to throw down a drain. Unless, of course, you are a brainless ten-year old stealing your parents' itunes password then you might have an excuse for helping the morons who made this retrieve some of their investment.

One of the very worst films we have seen. Appalling and disjointed story line complimented only by vomit inducing acting! Spare yourself the pain of spending £4.00 on this tripe!

Oh dear.
Impressed by just how bad this film is.
A dull, insipid story with no surprises.
A leading man with zero charisma who somehow manages to make even scenes that are meant to be full of emotion merely laughable.
A bad guy who's motivations are never really explained, and who's actions therefore make no sense.
The plot is by the numbers, with seen it all before segments throughout.
Really such a waste.

Low stars & only available to buy?
When you get a film with low level reviews combined with only the option to buy, I in the main avoid it. Seems like a dirty marketing trick from iTunes

Not worth watching
I bought this film based on the previous movie with Morgan Freeman. But this is an example of how a film can go badly wrong. Firstly, it is one big cliche with no surprises, terrible dialogue and no character development. What was Jean Reno's role? It seemed like an afterthought.
I thought this was going to be a tense psychological thriller but it is just a cheap B movie.
A remake by the Swedes would deliver a much better film!

This could of been great. But it's so poorly made.
It runs at such a pace that it skips on story, character or any chance of atmosphere. Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) was so dull and completely miscast.
Matthew fox did a decent enough job tho. But it's a shame no one else seemed as committed to this as he did.

Waste of time
This is conceivably the worst movie made in full colour. No plot, no characters, no connection. I am sorry than Jean Reno was somehow persuaded to appear in it.
I stopped watching half way through and deleted the movie from my iTunes account.

if you see a 5 star review for this it is likely bogus. Someone from the film company trying to get you to buy or rent. it ok. Just ok. its probably worth a couple of quid to rent. its not a classic or any way near that classification.
