This is a great great documentary - the story of the Southern recording studio that was home to some of the most legendary tracks ever to hit record racks. "Land of 1000 Dances", "When A Man Loves A Woman", "R.E.S.P.E.C.T.", "Brown Sugar", "Sweet Home Alabama", just a few. And when Keith Richards himself wonders what "Jumping Jack Flash", "Gimme Shelter", "Exile on Main Street", COULD have been if they had been recorded at Muscle Shoals ... that gives you just a clue as to how important this place is/was.
Beautifully made, with some stellar interviewees, this is a must see, whatever genre of popular music is your thing.

Brilliant.

Forget the saddo cheapskates who won’t rent this. Its truly wonderful. A brilliant , totally engrossing film about a place that had an incredible history and importance in the musical world. Wonderful film . Found it engrossing and very moving . Does a place like this exist anymore ?, I doubt it. A moment in time beautifully captured.

I strongly disagree with earlier comments. This is a very entertaining documentary with beautiful photography. It gives an insight into the music industry which I did not appreciate until I saw the film.
Given the fact that the film is currently being shown in cinemas I consider Apples rental charge to be reasonable. I would have paid FAR more to watch this at a cinema.

Forget it
