Description

Lewis (Dougray Scott - My Week With Marilyn, Mission: Impossible II), jumps on the last train leaving London, heading home after a long day’s work. Striking up a relationship with the flirty and beautiful Sarah (Kara Tointon - The Sweeney), he soon realises this is going to be a journey to remember, but for all the wrong reasons. In sleepy and abandoned carriages, stop after stop is missed and Lewis, along with the five other remaining passengers, ends up on a ride of a lifetime as the train hurtles relentlessly down the track. Hijacked by a vengeful sociopath who is hell-bent on crashing the speeding train, all six strangers must work together, if any of them are going to survive this death ride, which is destined for destruction.

Good, but does not quite deliver..

Believeable, engaging to a good degree but unfortunately not as gripping as expected and the end does not deliver / conclude.....

Not bad.......

Last Passenger is not at the high end of action movies, however for a British film, and no doubt on a limited budget, what was achieved was very good. With a stronger plot and an added twist this film would be much better.....having said that this film, in my opinion, is worth a viewing.....the acting is not bad, the action was presented more at a slower pace and the special effects were pretty tight and just as good as seen in more big budget movies. I suggest ignore the negative views and make up your own mind on this one.

Amateur and dull

Amazed at the positive reviews as this film is so poor. The acting is laughable and at no point does it seem realistic as the plot is pedestrian and littered with massive gaps in logic. So disappointed - the pitiful ending sums it all up.

Terrible movie

Can't understand the positive, glowing reviews for this film. Must be written by friends and family of the cast! I didn't enjoy this movie at all. Plot was very poor. Didn't care about the characters. Have seen far better train thrillers. Avoid at all costs, unless you have money to waste!

Last Passenger

This film is poor. The plot is non-sensical and there is no conclusion in terms of why the ‘bad guy’ is doing what he is doing! In fact you don’t even see a bad guy.
The acting is absurd and the Polish guy’s accent is so bad it’s funny, in fact his mental accent is the best thing in the film. The flirtatious scenes between the main characters at the beginning of the story are pointless and the ‘action’ is weak.
In summary this film is like Speed set on a boring train in Kent with no bomb, no baddie, no plot and no clue. Basically film a drunken night on the Newcastle Metro on your IPhone and you’ll have a better film

Absorbingly tense British thriller

Managed to hold my attention till the end - and I even jumped in my seat a few times. Great to watch a British-made/British-starring movie that has exciting moments and witty dialogue - the effects are good too. One that will be enjoyed by almost everyone.

good film too many inaccurate details

was an alright film but lots of errors as a train driver who drove those trains and knows the route used it was all wrong the train used was an electric not a diesel the wouldnt have been a headcode at the back nor a red light only red blinds there are many more more its a shame the producer didnt research before making the film.

A pleasant surprise!

A good thriller, and although the story seems like it's been done before this still has plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. It's like Speed meets The Taking Of Pelham 123. Good performances and well made. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fast moving (!) British action

Great to see a British action film done so well. I caught a screening of this last year and I thought with the budget the special effects were very well done (especially for the BO). Dougray Scott is great in the lead and really holds the film together but Kara Tointon puts in a great turn as his side kick too.
