Great movie, but the sound on the English dub is terrible - all hollow and no bass to any dialogue, music or sound effects. Not a problem with my set up as the other languages have proper sound, so it’s a shame that the native language is so terrible.

Was HD and was And two days ago it went up set up to K4 okay now down to HD what’s going on be really unhappy if I paid for 4K

Now that is how you make a sequel. When ever I think of the thought of a sequel in 21st century, I do cringe as there haven't been any decent sequels out there these days. Just a few like 'The Winter Soldier', 'Spider-Man 2' etc. Dawn will most defiantly go down as one of the greatest sequels of all time. Great acting for the Ceaser characters as well as all the others. I 100% recommended this film.

Turning out to be an awesome trilogy.

I watched this expecting a Saturday night blockbuster. What I got was a pseudo-intellectual musing on the state of humankind. This film straddles the two camps , with a loose plot and cliches throughout, it could have been so much better. Not a bad film, but not as good as it could have been

Not the best film this year and definitely not the worst. But as storyline and acting goes, very average. A definite Sunday afternoon, made for TV movie.

Wow! What a great film. Easily the best cgi I've ever seen and that's including Avatar. A must see film, now one of my favourite films of all time.

I was really looking forward to this after the brilliant previous film. As with a lot of sequels, this one was a bit disappointing, nowhere near as clever or powerful, more a typical cinema blockbuster than the thought provoking earlier film.

I won't ruin it, but I went to see the movie with a group of freinds and others from school on a school trip. It was a BRILLIANT movie and I highly recommend it if you are in to action. It gets scary at the beginning with the virus but that makes it all good. Very good movie!

This film is average. Nothing special. The comments stating it is absolutely immense are ridiculously far fetched. Some film buffs have shocking taste.

My rating may be a little harsh but after a good start slumped into an all too familiar format of drudgery and over exaggerated shots of apes blazing two automatic rifles on horseback! If you liked the first one you will probably take issue with this one as it has a massively different feel! A Plot with more holes than an tramps under crackers, CGI heavy, man vs chimp gun fights and Sirius black as mayor of a city that despite having years worth of fuel, decided it was only time to contact the outside world when the fuel ran out! Could have been good but does not deliver, if however you like plot holes and enjoy paying £9.99 for a boring 2 hours of predictability then you won't be disappointed !

This is in every way a fantastic movie. The effects are incredible, the acting is first class and the story line is gripping and well executed. Strong contender for the best film of 2014.

Sequels are always something to be conscious of, whether they can live up to the hype of an epic first film. Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes does just that. It has you hooked from start to finish. Graphics are immense and the acting is superb from Andy Serkis as Caesar. If you thought Rise Was amazing get hold of a copy of Dawn today. It will have you hooked from start to finish and even throw in a few shocks. A film not to be missed. OSCAR FOR SERKIS PLEASE!!!

The film is okay, but not that great. The story runs smoothly and the acting is good by all. However, the ending is weak. Also, iTunes, if you do an early release, then make it possible to rent, unlike idiot me who bought it. Readers, rent, not buy as you are unlikely to watch it again.

Watched it twice and I only downloaded it last night. Special effects are the best so far.

Everything in this movie is predictable from the right beginning you understand what is going to happen next, so easy to follow, nothing to discover, nothing to be surprised to, a baby can catch everything. The actors are spineless, the bad is bad, the good boy is good and the same thing for apes. How can you give 5 stars to this?????????

Loved this film. Must own without a blinking doubt!

The motion capture work is very impressive, and the digital animation remarkable - stunning at many points. Some pretty decent acting from a good cast, and bearing in mind a story line with a known outcome, actually makes for a very entertaining film. Worth a watch!

I made the fatal error of having high expectations of this film when I saw it in the cinema, and I was still blown away. Enthralling, exciting, touching and terrifiying in equal measure, by far and away my favourite movie of 2014

With some of the best CGI I have ever seen anywhere, it is very easy to forget you are not watching actual Apes. Aside from the outstanding effects and visuals, the film is almost perfect and apart from a "slightly" predictable story line, which has to be forgiven as the movies are heading in a singular direction, this is one of the must see movies of 2014 and is sure to be part of a legendary trilogy.

Incredible movie, really was! Loved watching it, definitely a film for awesome surround sound! Worth the watch!

When I first watched "Rise" I was amazed, it was such a brilliant movie, but then I watched "Dawn" and I was speechless. I couldn't stress enough how much I loved this movie. In my opinion, the best movie of 2014 so far, and I can't see it being topped. I might go as far as saying it is one of the best, if not the best I have ever witnessed. People will say that all this movie is just talking monkeys who have a scrap with a couple of humans. It is not. If you are planning to see this, watch rise of the planet of the apes, (If you haven't already) then you'll understand. The pure thrill that you get just seeing this masterpiece is phenomenal.

One of the best films ever made

One of the best films I've ever seen. The only thing I didn't like is it wasn't as particularly mind blowing as the last film? Just my opinion, it was still awesome to see Ceasar as an adult with children and a wife and their home and everything. Epic film. Definately recommend.

A must see again film. Treat yourselves and watch it.
