Nice movie, well presented with some good make-up & CGI. Storyline is also very good & engaging. Simple popcorn fun.

This film rocked.

- Vlad the Impaler become the superhero/monster Dracula.

- Luke Evans excellent performance carries the whole film.

- Great direction, cinematography and well produced and written too.

- Sets up the Universal Monster Universe well.

- is less than an hour and a half long and has a good pace. Didn't feel rush.

Dracula Untold rocks and is well made. I'm excited to see The Mummy with Tom Cruise. Good work!

Unbelievably stupid film. If you like watching very long fantasy PC game CGI videos on your TV you will probably like it, because it looks just like one. Abysmal generic action dialogue. We lasted 35 minutes and turned it off as it just got more and more silly. One for the action kiddies who don't know anything about the true origin of the Dracula stories.

A story about sacrifice and love, averagely told. The characters are shallow, the script feels a bit rushed. A good watch if you want to be transported to a fantasy world for the evening.

This is a great film, all the effects made me wish I had seen it in 3D!

Good soundtrack, and great acting from all the cast. Lots of good sword fighting scenes too, despite it being a vampire themed film, and the historical setting was not cheesy in any way.

Never thought Luke Evans would make a good vampire, but he does, and Charles Dance's vampire nails are sooo creepy but lovable by the end of the film.

Why the so many 5 stars, I can’t understand. This is the most boring film I’ve watched in a long while.

Good entertainment and an interesting twist on the Dracula character. Plot is pretty standard and it’s set up for a sequel. Worth renting for sure.

This is a great film - full of action and hopefully there will be a follow-up.

This film has good action and special effects throughout.

The story line is much more in line with folklore tradition that Dracula was a knight of the battlefield, and one to be feared as a monster known as Vlad the Impaler.

A story of one man and his love for his family and as a prince, his people too.

Desperate to protect what Prince Vlad holds so precious away from the warring Turks Vlad is drawn into the dark world where a deal could seal his fate for a tortuous eternity.

I never real thought much if the acting was good or bad but he main lead is a compelling watch.

The action and special effects keeps you hooked although tension rarely showed itself in this film.

Not as gothic as I’d like but 5 stars from me.

It’s more like 300, than dracula, but it’s not bad if you’re after a silly action movie. The lead actor is very watchable, but don’t be expecting anything thought provoking

I have to put this review up because I'm a little baffled by the poor critical response to this movie..I read iTunes users reviews on here saying how good this movie was, so I bought it and they are bang on..I think the critics didn't understand the point...it's an origins story portraying the tragedy that is Dracula...Well worth a watch, the acting draws you in to hoping the inevitable won't happen, all the while you know this is Dracula and it isn't going to end pretty...but if in a Dracula movie you find yourself almost optimistic he won't end up the famous bloodsucker then I'd say they've done a very good job of offering up a refreshing change to the constant reel of vampire movies, some ridiculous, which have come about in recent years! Watch it!

I'm so glad I only paid the £3.50 to rent this before I bought it. This film was all hyped up to be the best Dracula inspired film of our generation, and what a let down it was. It was boring and uninspiring, turned it off after sitting through it for and 1hour hoping it wood get better, unfortunately it did not. 😠

Storyline was spot on, first class acting and the affects brilliant. Nothing more to say than, just watch it, first class, enjoy.

Good production but awful film

Utter toss! Pretty much every line uttered in this film is a laughable cliche. What a waste of green screen.

The film felt a little rushed and the characters were a bit one dimensional.

Excellent film, love this films take on the old tale, I recommend watching this movie 5* /5

Getting bored of this.........

It’s ok sums up this film, it has potential but it ends up trying to be a cross between the Mummy and 300 but it’s not as good as either those films! I do wish I had waited and rented instead of paying £13.99! If your looking for something that has any resemblance to Bram Stoker’s Dracula the book or the film, look elsewhere or you will be disappointed!

Defiantly one to watch......

There's been lots of Dracula movies over the years. This is one of the good ones because it's a proper tragedy, which is what Dracula is. Looking forward to some sequels!

I enjoyed this. It was a good build up to what I see will be a sequel, which will be great with an evil Charles Dance. It wasn't overdone, it was a good story and good action, Not spectular.

This movie brings nothing new to Dracula's story, in fact it takes away from the legend,not even worth it for the action scenes. Just shoddy.

I have seen this movie and do not waste your money. There are better vampire movies around. Only cgi affects are good enough but still it doesnt cut it for me. Actually the sultan is way too likeable than a real bloodthirsty vampire.

This film is one of the best Dracula remakes they have made for a while, acting is great Evans is brilliant and cgi is amazing. Only criticism is it is a bit short but other than that I would recommend this film.

An amazing adventure that kept me fixed

The cgi is good, the action scenes are better. The acting could have been better and the film could have been a bit longer. Overall, compared with other recent vampire movies like the twilight series, I enjoyed this movie.
