this is the best movie I have watched this year and I can’t stop watching it again and again want more movies like this.

The first time I saw this on Sky Cinema, I truly loved. Then, a few weeks ago, I started reading the books and my GOSH are the books good. Way bettter than the film. The film changed a lot of things. Even the ending is different. I love the books and can't wait to read the last in the trilogy. So yea, I 100% recommended the books. :)

It's just TRULY amazing it's got twists, action even sad and happy parts, parts to scare you and let's you really be in the movie almost as if you we're in the glade! Highly recommend this to anybody IT IS GREAT 😄

Good movie unusual plot!

The maze runner, was absolutely phenomenal. The build up, The tension, the feeling it gives you is amazing. its horrible but not to horrible it's just right, I highly recommend this film

It is good but it could be better when Alby gets captured and could stick to the book a bit more. Still very good but book is better

First of all, TMR was written before The Hunger Games. So instead of TMR so called copying THG it's the opposite way round sweeties. Also I am a fangirl. I'm not ashamed of it at all! I've read all the books watched all the movies and am waiting for The Fever Code book (another prequel) to come out in 2016 and for THe Death Cure movie to come out in 2017 😊😆🌸

The books were ok but never great and the movie is watchable at best and downright rubbish at worst. This is not on the same league as "The hunger games" despite how they attempt to market it!

It totally ignores massive plot points from the book witch are of vital importance to understanding the the underlying narrative of the story, the acting is wooden and the relationship between the 2 alleged leads is all but non existent.

If you are a die hard fan of the books then nothing I say will probably stop You from watching this pile of toss but to everyone else AVOID!

Started watching fairly sceptically, though really enjoyed the story.

i watched this film on the way back from america, and i was gripped from start to finish. absolutely incredible story line, and fabulous actors.

The movie is ok but if you want to get a better version of the story read the book because it is 10 times better

Usually I'm not into these films as I never had much interest in hunger games or divergent. However, I absolutely loved this film and would definitely recommend this

This book was one of my favourites. I do reccomend it for good and fast readers because it is long and children might not understand

Closer to the book then I thought it was, great film the scorch trials (the second in the trilogy) comes out in September, and it has Thomas Brodie-Sangster nothing else needs to be said.

I saw that the film was up for rent, it was a Friday evening and I wanted a film to watch while having my pizza. I was hooked from the beginning, when the film first came out I was expecting a rip off of the Hunger Games, hell was I wrong. It turned out to be gripping, intense and in places funny and moving, I'm going to have to buy this film now, I enjoyed it that much. It's a great film for the family, a great film for a solo viewing and even a great film to test out your home cinema system, the camera work, visuals and audio are really good. I have nothing but praise for this film, can't wait for the next one.

Very repetitive, nothing really happens and an rubbish ending.

Well, what can I say. Despite the, frankly, pathetically compiled trailer, the movie itself isn’t too bad at all. Good directing, decent plot, and surprisingly well-selected young actors. I think we will see many of them in dozens of movies in the next 4-5 years, and some might even become household names.

This is definitely the best movie of all time, for those that say that its a copy of the hunger games... Well you are wrong! The maze runner books were written before the hunger games so it the other way round. Wes has done the most amazing job doing this movie and James for writing the books. PLEASE READ THE BOOKS BEFORE SAYING THE MOVIE DOESNT GO ANYWHERE! cause yeah it does😂 so i HARDLY recommend this to everyone! It's absolutely amazing and the actors are perfect. Just wait and see the scorch trials, u will love it😊

Don't waste your money. Misleading trailer. Totally senseless tripe. Add to that the worst acting I've witnessed. The director should be shot. And not with a camera!

Extravagent, unbelievable mumbo jumbo.

Was looking forward to this. Trailers look amazing however the film is a let down. Turned it off after 20 minutes.

Total and complete utter drivel. Horrendous acting, What a load of mid atlantic wanna be tripe. the Sci fi genre is cringingly copied. if I could get my money back I would, but I can’t ; well that’ll teach me. Do not, under any circumstances, watch this. You will loose the will to live.

Awful do n't bother.

I know that there has been lots of post apocoliptic movies about lately, but I think this one is really good. After reading the books you understand the really detailed and interesting story line and you apriciate the movie more knowing what it is building up too. I definatly think the movie did the book justice and the cast were great especially Dylan O'Brian, they reflected the characters in the book really well. Read the books and watch the movie!

Film was slightly above average. Itunes ruined my viewing with poor quality download. Sound was always out, contsant crackling and poor definition. Film was so slow in the mid section, I nearly fell asleep. Interesting premise but another film that could have been great.

Glad I rented it as probably wouldn’t watch again but was enjoyable, it sets the story well for a sequel which I would watch.

Don't understand the criticism, I thought it's a great film so did all my family don't understand why people hated it,Full of action Full special effects, we cannot wait for the next film!

Entertaining if this is your thing although there seems to be a few of these types of film such as divergent and hunger games. Not as good as hunger games and close thing to divergent. This is ok and if there are sequels I will probably watch them too as there is a real shortage of decent films out there.
