Could chill out and laugh all night to this movie! Nice!

Lots of bad reviews for this film, but I really enjoyed it. Different feel to the original, a bit more gross but perfect Sunday night viewing

I loved the 1st film and John Cusak added that extra element to the film. This film has kind of jumped off the plank and fallen into a ordinary swimming pool. It feels like a tv comedy movie unfortunately. There is fun to be had in this film and there are bits which are funny.. But it just loses pace. Sadly this is probably it for Hot Tub Time Machine. If Cusak came back i'd give it another go but there we go.

Ok so this film hasn't won any critical awards and looking at mainstream viewers I can understand the reviews. I found it very entertaining. The banter flowed throughout the film and it left me wanting to see the next instalment. A potential cult classic.

I loved the first film. This was terrible. Desperate attempt to get some cringe laughs (although a couple of bits did make me giggle) such a shame!!! Really wanted this to be good. Avoid.

This is the worst film ever. It’s actually worse than “Freddy Got Fingered” - a feat that I didn’t think possible.

As stated not as good as the first but is funny.

If you liked the first then you will love this one.

No story, awful acting and run of the mill jokes make this an awful film. The original was exactly that, original, witty, clever and fun, something this one misses altogether..

Don't bother

A good movie but not great but most sequels don't exceed their predecessors

Possibly one of the worst films ever made. And not in a so-bad-it's-good way; more in a career-destroying way for all involved. We saw this at the cinema, having quite liked the original, and spent ninety minutes cringing in horror. Basically, some of the original characters from the film visit several alternative futures, there's a gay rape on national TV, and John Cusack breathes a sigh of relief at not being involved in this crap. The only decent bit is the Webber Strut, a dance that one of the characters becomes famous for in an alternative future. It's only funny because it's nowhere near as funny as the cast have to pretend it is, and you can see the desperation in their eyes as they laugh hollowly each time it's performed.
