This got removed from Netflix and I loved it so much I had to get it elsewhere. Absolute amazing movie - ignore the negative reviews and take a taste at it for yourself. Easy to watch film with many laughing points throughout the movie. Many reviews here attempt to say that the plot is “poor”. The plot actually requires some brain power to keep track - so yes it does have a plot.

This movie was sooo funny but was a little violent!

Have watched this film several times now with my husband, and most recently with my 77 year old Father in Law (who considering the constant barrage of swear words was also laughing out loud). Melissa McCarthy is brilliant, ad-lib genius! If you love comedy, you’ll love this! A must watch..

So funny - had me laughing out loud.

I wasn’t expecting much for a £0.99p HD rental but it was very funny - and I’ve spent £0.99p on a helluva lot worse. Jude, Jason, Rose and Miranda make for a great supporting roles for the star, Spy. Very enjoyable and funny but quite Johnny English or Get Smart - not a bad first attempt though. Highly recommended 👍

I enjoyed this film for several reasons, I have to agree with some reviews about the excessive use of swearing but once my brain had rewired itself, this turned out to be a good popcorn movie. McCarthy plays her role with ease and has some great lines which she throws out, but for me, many laughs have to go to Mr Statham; for all his 'serious' roles, he seems to to take great pleasure in sending himself up at every showing (I wont be able to watch FaceOff again with out grinning!)

All in on all, I found this film to be entertaining with some great set pieces from the more unusual fight scenes and the use of public transport to the great use of the cast at all levels with no one trying to steal the show.

I recommend this but maybe not with any little ones in ear shot!

(and SOMEONE get Jason Statham to do more comedy!)

I convinced my husband to rent this - he was not so sure but by the end he was in agreement it's a very funny film. Statham set himself up brilliantly. Melissa McCarthy was fantastic. great movie

Puerile, potty mouthed, and unfunny. Could only watch thirty minutes before giving up. No redeeming features.

This film was equally repellent and badly written. No comedy, just crude vulgarity throughout with no real plot.

This film is obviously good with Melissa in it! She seems to make everything funny! With a sense of comedy and action, But a bore of pauses in storyline and action. A good serious storyline with a lot of comedy and action thrown into it with great acting! Bit of dirty innuendos and scenes, but doesn't go anywhere! Should be rated 12A. Conclusion: 4/5 For a Film that doesn't dishearten nor disappoint. A must watch!!

If you expect a film like this, having seen the trailer to be serious or have pretentions of greatness then you probably saw the trailer for another film. Yes, the language is coarse but once yoiu get past that we found it to be a funny film. A laugh out loud funny film and I've not seen many of those. The story is a bit predictable but how many films do you see nowadays that are not a remake or reuse an idea? If you just lower your expectations, sit back and watch then you will probably have enjoyed it at the end.

If you like your films to be all meaningful with underlying subtexts , moody actors, and at the end still wonder what on earth was going on then you probably will need to choose something else to watch.

Watched this with my family, contains images of an erect penis, the f and c words repeatedly. I'm not a prude but this is not a family comedy, its not really that funny at all.

Spend your money somewhere else, there are far clever films out there than this base rubbish.

Now I’m far from a prude but really the language in this was so bad I had to turn it off half way through. The jokes were thin on the ground and I don’t feel we missed anything apart from the rental money! Disappointed & definitely not a family movie. Shame on you script writers!

Best film I have ever watched, funny, sassy, girl power! Loved it so much. Stop what you are doing and watch this and this will make you stay up way past your bedtime but it's worth it!

What a complete waste of time and money this movie is. The plot is not original and the excessive swearing is totally unnecessary (yes, we got the joke after the first dozen uses of the ‘f' and ‘c’ word, but does the humour move on? No, the bad language just keeps coming and the joke becomes pathetic and so pointless. I only wish the trailer had some of this language in it so you knew what to expect before spending your money...

We gave up after about 30 mins and regret spending money on this fu(kinq movie - yes, that's about as creative and humorous as the script gets… If you think a character using bad language in every other sentence is hilarious then I’m sure you’ll love this move and give it five stars. Clearly this is a movie where you either love it or hate it, we unfortunately hated it.

This film was one of the funniest things I have ever watched. After first thinking it would be a standard good spy film, the plot twisted and it became gripping, amusing and easy to follow. Recommendable to anyone that can take the banter and adult humour!

We were so excited to see this film, and when we watched it... We think all the good parts were in the preview!

The entire cast are funny but Jason Stratham is a marvel. Melissa McCarthy is so funny but Jason Stratham monologs alone are just hilarious besides everything else. The whole film is a great - good action loved it. you wont be dissapointed.

Reviews, & trailer, lead me to believe this was going to be good spoof. I, & my friends, must have really lost our sense of humour. Painfully bad, unbelievably awful script. Waited for it to improve but alas it just gets worse the longer it goes on. Big thumbs down I'm afraid.

The usual tale of nuclear suitcase bombs, inempt spies and the Gal, who saves the day. But, the supporting cast are brill, with Jason Staham like you have never seen him before. He delivers the same lines as in other films where you thin"wow, hard man". Here you burst into laughter. Quote, "Where did you get the suit?"- Ans. "I made it". Not funny at all, I laughed out so loud and woke the Mrs. A great romp and watch it right up to the credits, there are a couple of surprises !! Get the pizzas in, couple of beers and some mates, have a good time.

Absolutley hilarious, a must watch

Easily the worst film I've seen in years. No thought or wit to the humour just tacky and tasteless nonsense that seemed to drag on forever. Each to their own I suppose but I seriously hated this film.

I am trying to download this film, for some inexplicable reason iTunes is not letting me finish the download. Very sad as I really want to watch it.
