Lovely stuff!

I watched this on Amazon prime just to test the new fire stick and pretty soon I was drawn into it. Best thing Simon Pegg has done since Spaced and Lake Bell deserves an Oscar for her convincing Londoner. Some actors impersonate and some shapeshift to become a character. She is the latter. I was so shocked to discover she is American. My husband watched it with me on my second run and he suddenly said 'hang on. This is quite funny' in surprise. Yes it is witty and charming with a real heart. Will now download from Apple.

Really great film, genuinely funny and fantastic performances from Simon Pegg and particularly Lake Bell. Definitely worth a watch!!

We absolutely loved this film and it’s definitely one that I would watch again - it was witty and charming and romantic. Well written, well acted, well done!

Half way through this disagreeable film (shouting in lieu of acting does annoy me) I decided that it would be worth paying £3.49 NOT to watch it. So I did. What a blessed relief.

.........but giving it a second quick chance (seemed fair - what did Simon Pegg ever do to me) it perked up a bit. But Oh Boy, do you have to persevere.

Watched this with an open mind as not Simon Peggs biggest fan. But apart from a slightly cheesy ending found myself really enjoying this and laughing more than expected. Both main characters work really well together and are well supported by others. Lake Bell as well as being adorable is superb from the off and to be fair the film seems to reflect modern day dating, certainly for the over 30's despite the obvious over the top ending. Worth renting but wouldn't buy!

Had never heard of this film, just clicked it out of desperation after realising Eddie Izzard Stripped is totally in French. Took a while to get me into it but God did it liven up! Cringey, hilarious, heart warming classic. Watch it!

If you've watched this movie after watching the trailer you've a fair idea what you're getting yourself into. It's perfect Sunday afternoon/ hangover fodder. Cliched and soft yes, but entertaining and funny too. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

A great english comedy set in london that had me laughing all the way through. Simon Pegg comedy flowed and Lake Bell played a great part.

Absolutly gutted I spent money on this - I feel robbed. The trailer seemed ok but the acting is unwatchable. Turned off after 20mins. Definitely avoid.

Simon Peg's excruciating acting is eclipsed only by the ladlefuls of smug he heaps over everything he touches. It’s sad yet impressive that one actor can kill a film stone dead, but Peg achieves this with aplomb.

Don’t waste your money :-(

Great humour, great writing, great directing. Laughs and tears a must see!
