I managed to watch this film over the weekend, and it was extremely intriguing to listen to Niki Lauda’s personal interviews recalling his harrowing tales of the Nuremberg crash. While he is generally open about his experience he holds nothing back in his recollection of his tragedy in this movie.

Worth a watch

I actually enjoyed this more than Senna.
The story is fascinating, and if you’ve seen Rush, you’ll know most of it.
The production was a bit odd. I had no idea what was going on for the first 10 minutes of the documentary. The subtitles were flipping between the top and bottom of the screen and the overly dramatic voiceover was quite annoying.
But hearing about that time from Niki and others was really interesting.
