It’s not often that a sequel is better than the original but in this case I think it might well be. All action from start to finish and I lost count how many die during the film. Although it’s full of killing the actual storyline is easy to follow with lots of little surprises and turns. A real beauty can’t wait for No.3

love this movie, reeves is fantastic and beliveable in this role. god that guys has aged so well

Better than the first

This movie tries too much to be like the first one instead of trying to be original on its own. This makes for a boring and pointless movie. Some of the characters that were so cool in the first one are back (the hispanic guy, the black receptionist, the owner of the hotel) but somehow this time they are not so cool anymore because they act just the same and are too predictable. The baddy (an Italian dude in this movie) has no charisma, unlike the Russian baddy in the first one. Also GONE Marilyn Mason and the killer soundtrack, replaced now by plain music. There is no real surprise effect anywhere in the plot or in the characters.

I would have rated this one or two stars if it wasn’t for some very good fight scenes that break the boredom and somehow helped keep me watching until the end. For the rest though it’s a very, very bland movie which tries nothing new or audacious unlike the first instalment.

How could I have ever done this. At least I stopped 67 minutes and deleted that crap. I thought Keanu Reeves was a good actor, but his performance here isn't even worth a Golden Raspberry. Speaks like a robot, acts like a robot. Poor stunt performing. Ridiculously long shooting scenes.

Watched JW2 about 5 times and would still watch it again, not as good as JW1 though. If you not seen either expect 1 man takes on the world style. If you had to choose its John Wick 1 all day long!

The best bit for me and im not kidding is the last 5 minutes and how it sets up John Wick 3. If done right JW3 has the basics to be one of the best films.

BRILLIANTLY MADE. Some people are writing its a bad movie cause its just shoot shoot shoot... duhh?! They aren't advertising anything else in the trailer and the whole story is that he is a killer and they explain in well. Its keanu reeves the mans an amazing actor. Time well spent!!

This is extremely dark and ultra violent but also enjoyable because the characters have a comic feel and the script is top notch.

Pretty much same action part like in first part. Story also not bad competing to come up something new.

If you action fan than you gotta watch it

This is a terrible film and really awkward to watch. The plot is thin and serves as a filler to the action scenes.

Just stick with the first film which is ok.

It's 90% shooting and killing, after 20mins it gets very boring. There is very little storyline.

This film is a shadow of the first John Wick. A useless plot, bad acting and generally just a mindless film. Don’t bother buying it!

John Wick kills everyone - but they're still after him. No acting from Reeves, just shooting. Poor poor plot. He had very few lines, just shooting - and the mirror scene was stolen from James Bond. What utter rubbish.

This is how you make a sequel. There's more action in the first ten minutes of this than you see in most other complete movies. It proves that great films can still be made without trying to be clever about it. Easily 5 stars.......

I like eating cheese with a good Napa Valley wine. Enjoyed this film - it was like a good Napa cabernet with Spanish Manchego cheese- Thats the limnit of my pretenciousness! watch this film its good!!

Totally waste of time and money. Worst acting from well known actors but no storyline just shooting and even that looks far fetched.

The dynamic range is set way too high. You have to crank up the audio to hear anyone speaking, then repeatedly dial it down during the action scenes. Unless you live in a barn in the middle of a field somewhere. Not clever.

The plot is ridiculous, and I found myself wishing that John Wick would just take a single shot in the head to calm things down.

Tedious, absurd and pointless.

If u look at it in a reality point of view; u might hate it, because u would probably wonder where were all the cops, CCTV, so many hitman on the street.... bla bla bla

But if u look at it like a video game, its a lot of fun. My only problem is, i just dun like CGI blood, please make the gun fight more realistic in the third one, bring back old school gun fight scene, that will be even better.

Loved the first one, loved this one. Great gun style from Keanu and excellent throw moves this time. So good!! Will definitely watch again in some kind of Wick-a-thon.

Unsure if this is covered in what I assume to be the graphic novels this franchise was lifted from - but, the repitition of quotes and almost like for like scenes (from the first movie) left me with a sour taste in my mouth for being taken for a ride.

No obvious originality or progression of story line.

If you’re over 12 years old avoid this film. It’s poor on many levels. shamefully dad acting and the story feels like a lame vehicle for the predictable action sequences. Rubbish.

Quite possibly the best martial arts action film I have seen for years!! If you study judo, jujitsu or BJJ then you'll be grinning from ear to ear for the whole film. EPIC!!

The plot was weak and too far fetched.

Just what I expected, an outrageous rollercoaster of classy action! A great sequel, I really enjoyed it!

For me, a bit too much shoot em up without enough story and plot but the latter two still exist to at least keep me very much interested.

For the more modern action film, it's far better than most

Would like to see more of the 'thriller' element in the movie to give it five star but it is a good film that shouldn't be taken at face value (too much)

Good set up for the third instalment

Great film but I'm another waiting for release before purchasing. If this is the 15 rated cut then it's the uncut 18 certificate Blu-Ray for me (with extras thrown in too)

Incredible action diving deeper into the world of assassins! Must watch for the pencil scene!
