Description
The world’s top protection agent (Ryan Reynolds) is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy, one of the world’s most notorious hit men (Samuel L. Jackson). Great film that makes the most of Reynolds hilariously witty charm and Jackson’s ability to bounce off it with foul mouthed aggression. Excellent action sequences and Bourne Identity-Esque fight scenes make for an excellent action/comedy.

Small details that count made this so enjoyable.

The only serious problem is that this film took 48 plus hours to download...Apple did sort this for me.

Not as funny as it could have been, kinda wished I’d not rented it and waited for it to air on SKY movies (oh well, £5 odd down the drain)..

Really enjoyable film but where’s the 4K version.
I bought the Apple 4K TV for 4K content and it seems like a lot of the must have movies and pre-orders are not being released on day one in 4K.
I Appreciate that there is a free update in the future but I like many want the fist time viewing to be in the best possible quality.

4k HDR in US so file available.

It seems Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate don’t want to release films in 4k HDR in U.K. even when the file is available. This is a U.K. arm distribution problem and the parent US company ARE releasing 4k HDR versions so it’s very lazy on their part.
As for the film it’s fine.

A good old fashioned action movie

This is one of the most enjoyable new movies I have seen in a long time. The plot is fairly standard, with the main characters making their way through a horde of baddies, but superbly executed. Reynolds and Jackson are perfectly cast and highly entertaining with a natural chemistry and coarse humour all the way through. The special effects are excellent with no noticeable CGI unlike today's typical superhero movies, with lots of explosions, action shots and broken walls. Some nice philosophical and romantic parts which makes this a bit more thoughtful than your typical film. I guess Jaguar paid for in movie advertising and Ford not! Overall a highly entertaining movie that keeps you on your seat the whole way through. Highly recommended!
