Description

Get ready for the Rise of your Life. This is the bloody, real life story of Essex, drugs, rock & roll and the rise of ruthless gangster Pat Tate (Craig Fairbrass).
It’s Marbella 1988, and the Scarface of Southend is on a blazing path of peddling pills and snorting coke, crushing anyone who gets in his way.
When Pat is eventually double crossed by an ex drug baron (Larry Lamb) he ends up in prison. Undeterred, he establishes himself as top-dog and as he makes plans to reclaim his turf, his unquenchable hunger for power leads him back to the only life he knows.
Rise of the Footsoldier: The Pat Tate Story sees the return of fan favourites Terry Stone and Ian Virgo along with a British dream team ensemble including Larry Lamb, Shaun Ryder and Jamie Foreman.

Didn't think you could match up to first few films, but this stands with them easily, Craig fair brass is absolutely scary as hell, portraying Pat Tait, mindless violence from the start to the finish, some very grisly scenes in the movie, especially the young man who gets caught stealing off the gangsters, very graphic scene that, made me feel a bit queasy, another great British film well done, first class. 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪🔨

Same story, nothing new, same poor acting and zero tension. First film at least offered up insight, true or fictional into an infamous period and event. This film did nothing. Avoid at all costs.

Great film

None stop action and exactly what a fan wanted to see. Always wanted to know how Pat became what he was. However, not sure all the sniff, fanny and violence was worth getting a shotgun slug to the belly for. But I guess you live by the sword..

Bit expensive

Really good film, a few things from the first film don’t quite compute with this prequel hence dropping a star but definitely a keeper this one!!

This is a brilliant film from start to finish it has a great soundtrack and a great cast and the action scenes are brilliant not to mention they got all of the details and facts correct obviously with a few name changes because they can’t use the real peoples names highly recommended

The first Footsoldier film is one of my favourites. I was left a little dissapointed with the second, but its back with a bang!! This is set before the first film and has the original cast, plenty of explicit langauage and fight scenes, and is a lot of fun! A must watch for all british gangster film fans.

Really good!
