Description
Former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson) now assesses security for skyscrapers. He's on assignment in China when he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he's been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family, who are trapped inside the building, above the fire line.

It’s a good job my kids loved it at the cinema or I’d have been really hacked off. They thought it was great, I’ve seen it all before. A hundred times 😴😴😴

1 dimensional film about steroided up blokes jumping through fire. Boring, predictable, and campy. Do yourself a favour, watch Die Hard instead. Can’t believe I paid cash money for this.

An average action hero movie and was disappoint3d that due to background music and noise dialogue couldn’t be heard during large portions of it. Nothing iTunes could do as sound editors of film to blame for this

It’s Dwayne and he’s protecting his film family so the formula and plot is there and the film is enjoyable nonetheless .

Like die hard but mission impossible... the good points - visually great, audio is clear and music is interesting. Started off with good intentions but didn’t dwell on the characters which was a shame.
The bad points - the story was weak and predictable and almost silly. I stopped caring for the characters as a result considering it went straight into action mode over any plot.
Preferred Rampage and Central Intelligence over this one. 2/5

The film is exactly what you can expect from the cover. Massively ridiculous! Loads of action! Tall building! Dwayne Johnson. All things I love.

I watched this film on a long-haul flight..... having done so, I'm glad I didn't pay to see it anywhere as it is not very good at all. It is like a remake of the first Die Hard film but with bit of a difference, but not in a good way.

Kids film with a big helping of over acting by pretty much everyone. Could have, should have been great and I am sure the next one will be but this one...lets just put it down to experience and move on.

I saw the average rating on here which at the time was 4 stars, so I thought this should be good. However, we were really disappointed. The storyline was was boring and predictable. Left feeling I wasted my money buying this film.
As an action film, It's definately one of the best.

*SO* happy to see Neve. She & Dwayne were lit ... on fire ... quite literally. It's a great film and I squeeled my fanny off throughout!

His films are now pretty generic, just a constant conveyor belt of films which have a weak story and try to overwhelm the viewer with noise, explosions and the rock flexing. This is no different and not very enjoyable at all. Shame reall.

He has been in rubbish films recently such as Rampage and Now skyscraper this is not thrilling I would recommend to people who don’t know what good films are.
