I like gaga as a person and she’s very talented but I was blown away by her acting and how beautiful she played the part! The movie and songs make u feel so many emotions!

I gotta say. I put off watching this up until recently and it’s only because of my negative thoughts that Gaga wouldn’t be able to act. But I tell ya what.... she can. Cooper did an amazing job with the Direction and his acting. I have only be able to watch it once and that is for the simple fact that it hit me like ton of bricks. I grew up with Alcoholism all my life and at 40 now, it’s still a struggle to watch it in my immediate family still. Bradley voice is amazing. I questioned whether it was actually him singing, cos he is that good. And it is him. I like a lot of stuff he has done, one of which was American sniper. Controversial film but I thought he played Chris Kyle brilliantly given what info and the environment they had.

But he went well over the bar and set it very high for himself with his next film. Gaga at his side just made everything click and they brought out the raw emotion in this film. Truly amazing and heartbreaking stuff, which is why I have only watched it once and that was hard enough. I’m telling you now that you need to watch but pls bring some tissues. The soundtrack is great also and with the two versions of. ‘I’ll never love again’ is brilliant and brings all the emotions bk to the film. I only got to listening to three lines and I felt myself chocking up. Would highly recommend watching by yourself. Well done Cooper and Gaga.

Lady Gaga is a revelation, this generation's Streisand is already upon us, only a mere decade in to her career. Expecting big things from this woman in the future! Bradley gave a career-best performance in this film.

Ignore the unusually high 1-star reviews. They are not synonymous with the stellar reviews and positive reception giving by most people are after watching this film.

Those one-star reviews are jealous Madonna fans and Gaga haters - ignore them and judge the film for yourself. It was definitely money well spent!

Brilliant movie

As someone who’s had a lot of experience with addiction and mental health problems within my family. The story and Bradley Cooper’s performance feels real, his performance is so compelling it shows other people what it’s like to know a family member or have a friend, or have an addiction or mental health problem themselves.

This film means the world to me

I love this film so much, it’s just amazing, it’s one of my favourite films I’ve seen in the past few years. The music, story and acting by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are just something else, they are on another level. It’s a deeply human story that many of us can relate to - it’s uplifting but absolutely heart wrenching and thought provoking at the same time. I’ll write it again, this film means the absolute world to me, and I’m grateful to all who made it.

Didnt know much about the film before I watched it and I was pleasantly surprised that the music was kind of rocky. I was expecting 100% cheese but it wasnt.

The fact that Gaga wrote the majority of the songs is exceptional. They really are great songs!

I thoroughly enjoyed the film and am now in love with its soundtrack too.

One of the best if not the best film I’ve ever seen. Reading some of the negative comments I think you’ve been watching a different film, and as for Lady Gaga not using her real name in the credits, she’s always been known and recognised by Lady Gaga throughout her professional career. It’s a fantastic movie, go and rent it but have the tissues at the ready.

It was ok a movie for not saying bad...Everything in the movie happened too fast and after 30 minutes gets boring and predictable... This is the type of movie that you will only watch once... The Barbra Streisand version is much better!

Starts well, but ultimately could have told the story at least a half hour sooner. Great performances by both, but Gaga is the star.

I couldn’t see any chemistry between Gaga and Cooper, just a lot of overacting and cheese. After 26mins I wanted to switch off. There was a beginning and, thankfully, an end, but there was little substance in between. I didn’t believe in the characters nor did I care! I felt it was very 2 dimensional. If you like indie movies or intelligent film making then I doubt this would be for you. If you love a chick flick and a bit of cheese then you will love this, plenty have.

Bored stiff watching this film!!!! Nice music but the storyline was so boring!!!

This film is an emotional rollercoaster but worth every second. Bradley and Gaga’s acting is amazing and the chemistry I felt between them was like no other. The whole cast is perfect and although the film touches on VERY dark and serious matters, there are still moments of light-hearted humour earlier on which really make you feel connected to Jackson and Ally (Bradley and Gaga) as a couple; you feel like you’re on the journey with them on their ups and downs. It comes with an incredible soundtrack that has memorable and powerful songs on it. An absolutely breathtaking film.

Trailer looks good, but the film does not live up to it. Lousy sound, mumbled dialogue and a real trick missed in that Ms GaGa should have used her real name in the credits.

This film absolutely blew me away! Lady Ga Ga & Bradley Cooper together was simply amazing.

I only wished the ending was a happy one just because of the chemistry between them.

I never leave reviews but I am doing only because I’ve come back to the iTunes Store to see if I can buy the film after renting it.

It is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Quietly and unassumingly powerful and emotional. It takes its time to introduce and develop rich and believable characters which by the end of the film you are 100% connected with.

Needless to say, great acting, great music; should have won the Oscars it was nominated for!

Not as good as the Streisand version and the music is quite dated, for me anyway.

Really enjoyed this take on an old story, acting and singing superb. Really let down by poor sound during dialogue. Especially the male talking. Constantly turning the sound up and down. I suspect it’s an ITunes issue, found this before with them.

Sorry, but it’s touching sensitive subjects badly, I wanted to turn it off. Why didn’t I? 😝

The review of this film speak volumes 5 stars the people who are giving this 1 or 2 can’t of watched the same film or can’t be interested in anything other than that which relies on CGI explosions and shooting rather than the acting in the story.

This is an absolutely amazing movie. It is the best I have ever seen, the story is so believable I felt like I was in the movie. Ally and jacks chemistry is so beautiful and the movie has everything. I am a big fan of gaga and Bradley they are amazing. The songs are also so great I can’t stop listening to the soundtrack, I would 100% recommend a star is born to anayone I love it. ❤️

... and I’ve watched it several more times since. I can honestly say, this goddamn movie gets me every time, without fail. It’s such a beautiful movie and I can’t help but fall head over heels in love with the characters. The cinematography is excellent and the soundtrack is stellar. Gaga delivers a fantastic performance considering this is her first major role, but Bradley Cooper is heart-tuggingly Oscar worthy.

One of the greatest movies I’ve seen in the last 10 years. Bradley Cooper has created a fantastically raw and human movie that is equal parts wonderful and devastating. The chemistry between Bradley and Lady Gaga is unparalleled. Both are incredible in this movie - we know he can act, but wow can he sing! In the same breath, we know LG can sing but she is made for the big screen and she’s going to be such an acting powerhouse too. Let’s not forget the amazing supporting cast too. Oh and I should mention the soundtrack is everything and is firmly repeating on my Spotify. If you have not had the pleasure and experience watching this movie then I say you stop everything and go watch it now. #astarisborn ❤️🎙🎼

Didn’t buy the chemistry between Gaga and Cooper at all. The film failed to make me feel a thing for their relationship. Felt very contrived. Not gripping at all. Cooper’s put-on, deeper, mumbling voice was horrendously annoying. Gaga gave it her best but the movie’s just not that well executed.

having seen the 1976 version and loved the music this one blew me away. The chemistry between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was palpable, the music was exquisite and although we know Lady Gaga has a voice this film took her singing to another level. For me Two Stars were Born in this 2018 remake.

I’ve seen this film twice now and intending watching it for a third time. It’s a thoroughly enjoyable rollercoaster of emotions. Gaga and Cooper absolutely shine throughout this film; neither of their performances can be knocked. On top of the incredibly acting there’s an awesome soundtrack to boot. I’d bet my bottom dollar that this film wins multiple Oscars!

I have seen this film a total of three times so far and can honestly say it gets better with each viewing, gaga and Bradley’s chemistry is so amazing to watch. I’ve never witnessed so much emotional from cinema goers ever even the men have tears in their eyes
