This is a movie that should have always been Gotham City Sirens. Although it’s no where as bad as people where making out, it’s super enjoyable. The jail cell fight scene made the movie and we needed more of that - it does take a long time to get the story going but it’s enjoyable. It does lack well known DC characters but If you’re a DC fan, there’s a bit of fan serve in there for you - but definitely worth a watch!

Absolute rubbish , this could have been so good if they had followed the comics, instead just follows the rest of the ‘woke’ movies coming out and shoving opinions in yr face, dull characters with rubbish fight action scenes , Wonder Woman was great and so could this have been, instead waste of a cinema ticket for me. #gowokegobroke

Super impressed. Was not expecting the film to ‘wow’ me like that but the acting, fighting and uniqueness really got me. Thoroughly recommend.

I'm really comflicted after seeing this. Firstly, there's good production values and the acting is excellent but the plot is average, incoherent and has all been done far better in other films. But, as a lifetime DC fan, I really can't see where and why DC is going. Firstly, they run scared when Zack Snyder went a little dark with Batman vs Superman and let Koss Whedon ruin his vision which was shaping up nicely to be a 5 film series. Then they brought out childish rubbish like Shazam and, to a lesser extent, Aquaman. And now Joker and this expletive filled and violent wish-mash likely only to appeal to teenage gamers and intellectually challenged adults. Please DC, release Zack Snyder's Justice League and then let him complete his grand opus. Sorry, but completely forgettable and let's pray it flops and we don't have to suffer a sequel.

This is a movie that’s action packed but at the same time has tense and dark feels at the same time. You don’t need to be a DC fan or a superhero fan to enjoy a movie that’s funny and auctioned packed all in one package, with many great actors like Ewan McGregor and Margot Robbie this feel boils down to a fun and crazy feel to it!! 5/5

All this film made me do is go to the shop and buy plastic cheese, so ill remember it fondly. not to spoil it but Obi KenObi barely even wares the mask, which dont worry im not an offended comic book fan but just wanted him to be in the mask more.

Ignore all the negative and hateful reviews because they are all bullshirt, those people are toxic and can’t appreciate powerful women.

I was trying to figure out why this film wasn’t working. Direction? Editing? Sure definite issues there, but why wasn’t it flowing, clicking, buzzing?Then my son pointed out to me at 47 minutes in that the story had not even started. He was right. It took that long to establish that the bad guy wanted Harley to get a diamond. After that it did start to move. It has some funny moments. The action is sometimes very good and sometimes bad (editing I think). It was ok at best. It’s not bad but it isn’t good either. The bad guys are all goons there to be beaten up like in old batman films.

Birds of prey is actually a really good film, it’s funny, it’s serious and it’s just everything I could ask for.

The people that are saying it is terrible are the people that are serious when it comes to films, they expect a good film to watch but this film is good and it is amazing! I definitely reccomend it ❤️

Nothing special but at its worst it’s mindless entertainment. Is it the Citizen Kane of Comic Book movies? No. Is it to be rated as poorly as Suicide Squad and Justice League? Also no. It’s decent, but the pejorative connotations that come with making a DC movie have led to hyperbolic criticism that is for the most part unwarranted.

If you want a movie where you can leave your brain at the door and just enjoy some action-filled movie, this is for you! Margot Robbie perfects her work as Harley Quinn and brings a new and unique take on the character.

Bad

The joke (Joker) is on Warner. Deadpool creator was spot on - Harley looks more Ronald McDonald (I’d love cosplayers try this with a happy meal). Even a title change during movie release is messy...not even iTunes can identify it under “Birds of Prey” anymore lol

Such a shame as Margot Robbie was by far the best thing about Suicide Squad. Without the joker there’s no ying to her yang and she has nobody to bounce off. She’s like a comedian with no fall guy.

An amazing funny action film this is what the comic book is about well done

Loved this movie! Acting is perfect from the cast, especially from Margot Robbie. The overall script wasn’t the best but I really enjoyed it. The action scenes were stunning and I’d definitely recommend purchasing!

Saw this last night, ignore all the MCU fans hating on it, this is actually a very cleverly made film, you get to go back and forth at some points and connect the dots which is pretty awesome, the action and choreography resembled John Wick quite a lot, Ewan McGregor just did a fantastic job on playing the BlackMask and making me hate the characters guts, but one problem would be the rating because I personally think this should have been 18 from how disturbing and brutal it can get

Characters have so much potential but this movie is awful. Such a shame

The movie is terribly made from a script perspective and Relies VERY heavily on narration from HQ to explain plot details.

After seeing the movie i found out they had to have huge reshoots and flipped the script to change what could be seen as a ‘homophobic’ narrative was removed form the movie. It explains the loose ends, over narration and choppy editing.

Saying all that, I think I enjoyed this movie the most of all the modern DC movies I have seen. The acting is great across the board, they do the best with what they have.

I will give it a solid 3/5, would recommend streaming OR buying on iTunes when it’s on a heavy discount.

Absolutely fantastic, true and real comic book fans will love it, Margot Robbie is amazing, the movie is very violent and quite gory and definitely not one for the kids but is a fun exciting violent entry to the DCEU and this is almost certainly the best DC film since the dark knight (excluding joker) go see it you will be surprised, it’s fantastic!
