This film is worth the one star...for providing far more hilarity than obviously intended. It's so completely ridiculous it is just laughable - the green screen 'honeymoon' scenes were so outrageously bad it was laugh out loud funny! Probably one of the worst films I have ever seen - Fassbender was the only thing worth watching. Romola Garai's character is wholly unlikeable, so you really don't care what happens to her. Avoid, unless you're looking for an example of shocking directing, and a dreadful storyline and script!

Anything but paradise

There is no shortage of good actors on the cast list... But regretably the story line is dull to say the least...(it simply just fizzles out!) Some of the scenes of far of destinations during the "honeymoon" are clearly blue screen imagery and not very convincing at all (was there a tight budget?). I had hoped to be transported to another era in time, where ellegance and grace were in abbundance and a cravat was best worn in town, had high expectations but unfortunately not lived up to...

Weirdly bad....

This is a very strange film. There is no lack of acting ability among the cast. But the story, the direction, and the scripting is so bad at every turn it made me want to scream. The whole film is fake in such an over the top way that I looked for some kind of meaning behind it, as if it was an effect consciously indicating some greater point. But there does not seem to be any. It appears to be a genuinely abysmal film. How did Romola Garai, Sam Neil and Charlotte Rampling ever get involved in this?

Don't bother...

Undeniably the worse film ever made. Do yourself a favour and don't bother.
