This film is one of my all time favourites. It’s a stunning representation of fantasy and what it can be like when done right.

However this transfer is terrible. Sound clipping and dropouts in places. Huge amounts of grain in areas that were on my VHS, DVD or Blu-Rays that I own. Juddering in other places and they’ve not done anything to tidy up the picture at all with white specs and tearing in places.

The first edition Blu Ray was very similar but the second edition was a bit better. But I think this transfer is particularly bad in places. I mean it’s still an awesome film but it does detract from the movie with these discrepancies.

Fantasy excellence, a must see for children and adults with young hearts. Teaches hope and loss.

The film is outstanding - everyone knows this!

However there are some digital errors Warner Bros has to fix for this iTunes release.

Here are the times when these digital sound errors occur :::

At 10:42 into the start of the film the sound cuts out for a second.

And again at 10:46 another second of sound cutting out.

At 1:16:23 into the film you can hear the sound distort - this is not a sound effect from the film - this is a distortion.

These sound errors are not on my blu ray version - so something has gone wrong when Warner uploaded the movie to iTunes. Hopefully Warner Bros will re-upload the movie again in order to make sure these errors are gone for any of us re-downloading the film. Perhaps others can ignore these errors - but I can't - there are one or two other little sound distortions but honestly - I could write a longer list - but it's clearly a case where the whole movie has to be re-uploaded by the provider.

This is now my favourite movie but I feIt like crying in the horse part .It's a must-see film I envy it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything about this film casts a degree of enchantment. It is pure nostalgia --- a magical longing when we were kids craving for adventure & magic.

This is a classic fantasy film and one of my all time favourites, I always get scared when the wolf creature comes on, even now I can't look when he's on and is it too much to request my own luck dragon!!! .....lol best film ever!! 😃

This film is a classic I loved this when I was a kid and I still do I just don't like the part with the horse.it's a shame it's so expensive.

I've loved this film ever since I was a kid, it's truly magical, a must see for all fantasy lovers!
