Having grown up with the Disney Cartoon version of the film, I can't help but think they took it too far in terms of 'scare factor' and too much emphasis on the Oraculum spoils the plot a little too much for my liking. However Depp as always, plays a fantastic role and he is certainly the only part of this film that kept me watching as I found the rest relatively dull and predictable.

I know quite a lot of people didn't like this when it first came out, but I really have to disagree with them. I love this movie. The cast is brilliant, Tim Burton captured the surreal Wonderland feeling perfectly, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were fantastic as always and Anne Hathaway was also great in her role as the White Queen. The special effects were also amazing and so was the soundtrack and the costumes. I have to agree with most people on this site though, the HD price is too high, but what quite a lot of people don't know is that if you buy it in SD you can buy it at a cheaper price. If you're on an iPod touch or an iPad, just go down to the bottom of the screen and it says "also available in standard definition", just touch that and you can buy it at a cheaper price :)

A great film with a lot of action in it ,a little bit tense but amazing.I have just finished reading the trilogy my favourite is the first it is as good as the film but the films a little bit better . Love it amazing film as always with Jennifer Lawrence in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) 8)

This movie is cool and I mean cool I love the gabowaki a terrifying dragon that Alice fights at the end the bandasnatch a big giant leopard spotted fur with jagged teeth and that is so cool it loses its eye at the beginning and the do-do bird it isn't cool or nice I would say it is just plain its just a bird that is as big as a golden eagle it has red and black feather and can lift people that's just plane, but if you like fighting, laughter, mystery and magic then get this movie, GET IT NOW!!!!!!!

I adore this film. As much as I enjoy the typical Hollywood film; this film, with it's beauty, gentle comedy and absorbing story is, for me, a breath of fresh air every time I watch it. Each character is so well-portrayed - the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, but particularly Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Jonny Depp as the Mad Hatter - I'd watch this film just for them. This film is different from the book, but as such I found it a lot more accessible, and I enjoyed it a lot more

I wasn't sure about this film, it didn't look very good but I was definitely wrong. This film is very good, Helen Bonham Carter played the red queen very well, she is an amazing actor and so was Johnny Depp as the mad hatter. Good film.

The film is great with amazing special effects, but it's based on through the looking glass (the book which is a sequel to alice in wonderland), so the title is misleading, but still, great film

Best film ever! I went to the cinema to see it in imax 3D on the 27th March 2010, and that made it even better! My favourite scene is the Battle, when Alice defeated the Jabberwocky! My favourite film and it always will be!

I love this film! Tim Burton has done it again with his usual casting of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. I am certainly not complaining because they were both amazing and really connected with their characters as did everyone else! Seeing this movie in 3D was even better as the stunning visual effects were made more real and i thought it was a great improvement on the cartoon film which i found strange and confusing. It is somewhere between an adaptation, a retelling and a sequel but it is brilliant, whatever it is! Definately worth £9.99!

Although it is not the origional story, and characters from the looking glass world are in wonderland and the queen of hearts and the White queen are not sisters (in fact they are in different books) it is a wonderful retelling of a classic tale. (Sorry if I have bored you with the facts, but I'm a huge fanatical fan!)

It depends what you are into..as always. But I am open minded and am afraid to say this film is pretty lousy. Sure it's got it's special effects, big budget, green screen, jonny depp being kooky etc..... but really? Not interesting, rather annoying, Tim Burton overload, badly cast..... I walked out of it in the cinema, gave it another try on Sky and turned it off again. If you want animation....which in essence this is, you would be better of buying/renting 'How to train your Dragon' which is spectacular. Overall a stomach wrenching overload on the senses. Never like the story anyway.
