Just watch it so funny

I heard really good reviews about this film so I decided to rent it just to see what it was like. I must say I am highly disappointed. It's funny in some areas but in others it's just plain boring and not enjoyable. I don't understand why this is so expensive to buy either to be honest.

This film has very rare moments of being funny, the rest of the time it's cheap childish humour that gets boring…could have been good but unfortunately it really isn't.

I must say I had heard so many good things about this movie I was excited to get it but unfortunately it fell a bit flat after all the hype

It's a great film but the price is to much(£9.99) I can get that movie for £5 in morrisons

This was such a let down, first few minutes I thought it was going to be good, it was very slow in the middle and the ending was rubbish, it was like a kids film but was very rude etc..so obviously not suitable for kids...

Why the hell are people writing negative reviews for this movie. It's freakin hilarious. It's just as funny as family guy and the Simpsons. Well worth the £9.99. I just can't wait for the sequel to come. Seth macfarlane you are a comedy genius.

Start to finish barrel of laughs

With the success of family guy already i thought that this would have to be a good film, although i was let down by it. The film is unfunny and without the humour there is no distraction to realising what a boring story line this film has. I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone with a mental age over 12.

Unable to watch as keeps stopping

I watched this with my cousin and her boyfriend this was the best film ever 5 star +++++++++++ I wouldn't let 15 or younger watch this because of some language but apart from that great film

The trailer for this film was very misleading. We sat down to watch the film as family entertainment (youngest 15 oldest 71) and were taken aback by the totally unnecessary number of expletives. Hence stopped watching after 20 minutes. I think the trailer should have been more accurate. I'm sure it's difficult to do but I would really like a refund

This is a very good and funny film from Seth MacFarlane, the man behind Family Guy and American Dad, which manages in most circumstances to maintain the standard in places that he's used before in what he's best known for. Although to hear that Ted's more foul-mouthed and what not as well makes me for one think that he's also not been afraid to step up to the mark to make things a little more extreme as well. When it came to the film, the intro was rather moving at times, and I couldn't believe that Johnny and Ted did what they did for all those years before the real story begun, but when that happened I didn't laugh as much as I wanted to, which explains why it's 4 and not 5 stars from me, but all the negative reviews make me think that those people don't seem to be picking up MacFarlane's humour that he writes and the film as a whole. So, overall, not quite as good as Family Guy, but still enjoyable all in all, and to hear there's been some talk of a sequel has got me keen to find out more in the future, if it's true.

All the good bits of this movie were in the trailers.The story line was pretty poor and overall a disappointment.It could have been a great film but it just wasn't as good a Family Guy.

This is poo it took me 4 hours to download and I only had 30 seconds left to complete it and now it says they have to restart it over again so don't buy this poo film

This is a great film - loved it. But the quality provided by Apple here is terrible. The film is shaky and it stops with 40 minutes left to go - so you don't even see the ending! BE warned.

If you enjoy listening to a teddy bear shout expletives every 10 seconds as "humour" then you'll love it. Otherwise, steer clear, just like I'll be doing.

I purchased this based on the genius that is Seth!! However, if you are a lover of the humour and laughs that accompany the magic of Family Guy or American Dad (less so the Cleveland Show) then you really will be disappointed. This is not the endless, start to finish barrel of laughs that some people have proclaimed (critics included). I can count the laugh out loud moments on one hand. It is not a bad movie it's just...OK. (NOTE TO SELF - Be cautious in future when it comes to reviews, especially on iTunes)
