Apart from those annoying ewoks, great end to the original trilogy.

I liked this film, but I just can’t give it five out of five because those ewoks ruined I’m the film for me. So annoying. I would have rarther then be on the Wokkie planet than Endor. But oh well. The Luke, Vadim and Sith scenes were the highlight of the film and I love the opening scenes with Janna. But overall, great film.

Very suprised that the theatrical version is not included in the itunes extras. Actually I hate 90% of the new additional scenes which destroy the enjoyment of the film for me. The digitally remastered version of the originals were the best...

It Was amazing

This movie is the third and last movie in the original Star Wars trilogy. This movie ends it perfectly and it will leave you satisfied at the end. The story here lightens up the tone, since the last film's tone was dark, bleak, and depressing. This is evident with the inclusion of the Ewoks. They are teddy bear like aliens who lived on Endor, which was where the movie's second and third act took place at. The story built up slowly, but effectively to the final battle at the end. There's a battle in the planet, space, and the second Death Star. It offers some of the trilogy's greatest moments and it's the trilogy's special effects at their finest. The cast here are just as great as before. Luke Skywalker here is a completely different person, from the first movie. We get to watch him change from an immature and naive, farmer boy to a mature and wise, Jedi. Darth Vadar, who was a cruel and relentless villain in the last film, redeems himself and becomes a last-minute-hero at the end. Return of the Jedi is a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. It's not perfect, but it's so much better than the Star Wars prequels.

The final instalment of the Star Wars trilogy is a thrilling ride.

The Return of the Jedi is the best way the Star Wars trilogy could have ended, rounding off story arcs in an amazing fashion and continuing to thrive in its story, characters and special effects. Once again, it is a bit £13.99 is a bit too much to spend on this.

Pretty good

Sure the movie isn't as good as the previous two, but the movie isn't as bad as some might say. Very good, not the best, but not the worst.

For me, this is the most problematic of all the Star Wars films. And whilst there are some standout moments, the speeder bike chase and the showdown with the Emperor spring to mind, the film suffers from below par performances from Fisher and Ford (although the problem stems from the writing), a proliferation of Muppet type characters, and a sense that everyone involved just wants to get to the end ASAP. Not Star Wars at its best...

Nothing I could ever write , could simply convey how good this film is - Timeless for all generations.not many films hold that title - unless part of the Kubrick family but anyway!! StarWars on my iPad and phone at last!!
The Kids are gonna Love this over and over again just as I did :)

if Hayden Christensen is in this - and Darth V says ‘No, noooo’ as his chucks Palpatine into the hole, you couldn’t GIVE this to me. I’ll keep my £14 to be on the safe side.
