Almost 21 years old this is STILL one of the most compelling song/video's ever produced. Just as powerful an impact now as when first released. Britain HAD innovative talent back then, unlike the dross we see and hear now.

I've loved this video for years it just does not age it just gets better class i'm a fire starter wish there more in the charts like it class

i don't see what parents were complaining about, this is not scary. This is just a great video. probably parents thinking their kids will turn into firestarters when they were older bu they wont, it is just a song, it wont make people turn into arsonists

A brilliant video to an awesome dance masterpiece. When Firestarter was number 1 in the UK Top 40, Chris Evans the Radio 1 DJ refused to play the track on the Breakfast Show because it was "too loud" for him. No wonder they called him the Ginger Winger :)

Haha!!! I LOOOOVVE this song, and video too!! whats funny about it is Mr Flint's dancing. He is one of the only people who could get away with that and STILL make it look cool!!! ;)

it grows on you. I agree with MGB30. Not a Prodigy fan either way but this is probably one I'd put on on a jukebox, there is something oddly compelling about it. Those were the days bands were not afraid to be a little bit more shall we say controversial instead of a... kissing!

This video is not scary but i can see why parents complain. They should not be complaining in the first place because Flint does not have children in mind when filming his video. The video is made for Prodigy fans and if little children are scared what are they doing watching in the first place. Great video, one of Prodigy's best and enjoy.

In the days that what really made the difference was pure talent, these guys would not have a chance today in the simon cowell run business. Powerful song and video, not afraid to show themselves in an unflattering light, this kind of talent is still out there, but you really now have to dig for it.
