Shame such a talented lady like Beyonce wastes herself in hype and nonsense, please get back to making good music, not complaining about how she looks, but that does get a bit "look at me im gorgeous" by the end of this repetitive record

I like these two artists and the song is okay but what is up with all the humping and gyrating, especially at the end against the wall? It's a bit silly...we all know that they're sexy and fit but it's a bit embarrasing to watch. Maybe buy the song but not the music video.

Whilst these girls are excellent singers, the music industry is now just choosing attractive young people who can hold a note, and then forgetting about them, and moving onto the next attractive people who can hold a note. It's coming out in everthing! Look at the video. Doesn't matter about the performance, as long as you can see their bodies! Whereas videos like "Thriller" and "Hit me baby one more time" are cult classics. this kind of thing will be forgotten in two weeks!

It's the same with the artists. As good as they may be, "designer" bands and singers are soon forgotten. Get yourselves better managers and agents girls, and you'll become one of the legends. Because you aren't just attractive, you can sing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, both these singers have AMAZING voices, but i think it's a shame that the music is made by some guy with a laptop running pro-tools. It's like your favorite meal prepared to perfection, served to you on a trash-can lid. I'm not slamming Beyonce and Shakira. Both of these women were destined for greatness. This video is nothing but wiggling (Like all Shakira videos and most Beyonce videos). The song is terrible and a pure example of why just wiggling about will help you top the charts.

Let’s face it, when I heard that Shakira and Beyonce were doing a video together, I pretty much imagined the same thing as everyone else: two curvy ladies shaking every possible limb in every possible direction in every possible outfit imaginable. So when I saw this video, I wasn’t surprised.

But I wasn’t disappointed either. Far from it. “Beautiful Liar” may not be the most interesting of songs but their dark voices fit perfectly in the video’s dark setting and with the two artists showing us a master class in body isolation, it is a wonderful video.

It is a marvel to watch them dance…though the song does act like background noise after a while.

Haven't we seen this all before. A poor song suported by a ranchy video. If they'd have used the Freemasons mix instead of this drab version this song may have stood a chance. The Freemasons seem to be working wonders on other tracks for our Bee at the mo.

I love the lyrics, I love the dancing. Its just a wicked song. Get it.

To be fair, the song is alright, the collaberation has worked well in many aspects. Two of the biggest female artists joined together to perform a mediocre hit, but the video has really boosted the popularity of the song. I do not feel the like of Beyonce and Shakira should lower themselves to 'shaking their stuff' like in many dance and trance videos. Lets be honest, dance music is rubbish. I myself enjoy watching MTV, The Box, and other music channels, and time and time again dance videos come up witt sexy dancers. A heavy beat, some words, and girl dancers. I like dance music, yes i purchase it because it is indeed addicting - its that sort of feel good music when you just feel like letting yourself go, but i often think - hang on here, you can't call this music. You can't beat the golden era of pure breed rock, Eric Claption for example. So overall, a great collaberation by two great artists, and I have purchased this because it is a quality song, but the video is certainly not a necessity unless your a teenage boy with desperate needs...

damn that's a fine video, it caught me completely off guard. Whilst sat in a pub I was caught out getting into a debate with my friend about who was singing, with us both taking turns turning to the screen to exclaim which one we thought it was, it was when they both touch hands the penny dropped. I can't stop watching it though A mind-blowing duet
