Simply the best

I first heard this song in a restuarant on the A 10 in France between Baedoux and the Spanish border and could not stop playing it. That was in my trucking days. I am now 78 and still have it on my computer. GREAT song and love the bird thats singing it.

Miriam steals the show…again.

This is a great recording of Moonlight Shadow. Mike Oldfield's guitar playing is terrific, but Miriam Stockley steals the show. She’s obviously enjoying herself and it shows.

Brilliant

Probably one of the best pop/rock songs of the 20th century, with it's haunting melody and lyric. The live performance is a tour de force with both Miriam Stockley's singing and Mike Oldfield's guitar playing coming straight from the top drawer. A movie I will watch again and again and again....
Highly recommended!

Moonlight Shadow sung by Miriam Stockley

Fantastic version of this classic sung by the great Miriam Stockley in the cold of Berlin on 31st December 1999.

moonlight shadow by mike oldfield

I cannot believe that I have not written a report on this video until now. It is just awesome. I remember seeing a performance on TOTP's many years ago, and that was good. But nothing , no offence intended, compared to this. The set and location and the camerawork are just out of this world. To sit and watch it is to not take your eyes off it.
The performances are top notch.
Where was it shot, somewhere cold, probably Russia judging by the headwear, and who is the young lady who sings.
I never tire of watching this video, there is so much to see and take in.
Great song, great performance, great video.
Well done to all involved.

Cheering music

Here's a cheering way to keep one's spirits up! This always was a great pop song, and this enthusiastic performance by Mike Oldfield and the singer Miriam Stockley it is a terrific tonic.
