I really loved diana wen she was on ex-factor, her voice is just like the lead singer of the cramberies.

OK, the song gets 5 stars but there is a shocking similarity in this video to marina and The Diamonds 'I Am Not a Robot'. Come up with your own style for a video please, not in the extra dancers but in the way Diana acts herself. I really do love her and the song but it seems very similar to me!

Fantastic song and video, Diana has really proven what she can do by bringing out this single and her album coming soon. I knew people would come round to her and realise how good she is! Hoping big things for Diana this year!! :)

After thinking her voice could create some really special music, I'm rather disappointed with this repetitive, over-hyped single. Produce a really great single/album that I thought you were capable of, and I'll buy it...so very disappointed...

A good-ish video, but still, the girl doesnt sing proerly.

She doesn't use her diaphrame, but the back of her throat which makes her

voice come out nasaly and sound forced on some big notes, yes she

holds the notes and they're just in tune, but it's not proper singing.

If someone else with a real voice sang this, it would be good

I do like this video (she's so pretty!) But really, listening to her voice all day would just get on your nerves you can hear the screeching in her voice..! Was suprised in the direction she has taken would not have seen her doing this sort of thing. She's the new Sophie Ellis. Great single album preview sounds good also.

I just wanted to add a comment mostly to answer back some of the criticisms I've read in the reviews listed here.

1. 'She didn't write this song (no talent involved there)'

No, Diana didn't write Once; however, she has co-written every song on her album except three (including Once.) To say that she put no talent into her debut single is actually ridiculous - she is a singer and performer, and felt that Once would be her strongest debut. Although she may not be proving her song-writing abilities here, she will certainly do so with the album, which is more than a lot of artists in the charts at the moment do.

2. ‘She is clearly very airbrushed in this video which shows she is extremely vain’

I find it odd that somebody finds it unusual for artists to be edited slightly in their videos. 99% of musicians will have some sort of editing going on, and it in no way reflects Diana as a person and certainly doesn't mean she's a vain person. If you've listened to Diana in interviews and followed her journey you will know she was one of the least vain stars out there. I can almost guarantee that the 'airbrushing' was not done purely on her command, so it's silly to suggest that it is consequential of her 'vanity'.

3. ‘another pop reject tries for their 15 minutes of fame’

The last time I checked, a pop reject is someone who was rejected from pop, and I don't really see how Diana can be classified as a reject with her music video at number 2 in the iTunes charts, and the single topping several preorder charts weeks before its release? In case you didn't know, she's already had more than her 15 minutes of fame, winning awards for her acting achievements as well as her musical career, which if anything shows what a diverse start she is, and will outlast a lot of these 'pop rejects'.

4. ‘She came like 8th in x factor a few years ago’

No, she came fourth.

5. ‘y has it taken so long 4 her 2 bring her FIRST single out’

I know this question was meant rhetorically in the context of the criticism of Diana, but I feel it ought to be answered. In the past year and a half, Diana has been diverting off the path of typical X Factor contestants to do her own thing and put her own unique stamp on her career. She has co-written the majority of her album alongside stars such as Ellie Goulding and Lightspeed Champion; she has starred in the West End for 4 months, winning a What's On Stage award for her leading role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice; she has just finished a sell-out UK tour; she is currently doing interviews and photoshoots for magazines, TV shows and radio stations all over the country (eg GMTV, Glamour, Haarper's Bazaar, Blue Peter, Radio One etc..). THAT is why she has taken so long to bring her first single out, because she is not being rushed like 90% of other X Factor contestants - she is taking her time to do her own thing and set up for a proper career ahead of her.

To be honest, I doubt many of you will have taken the time to read that whole rant, but I felt it had to be said on behalf of Diana and her fans, just to clear up some of the inaccurate criticsms. Back to the song, having heard Diana on tour I don't personally feel it's her strongest.. HOWEVER I do think it's a brilliant song, it's grown on me enormously and it's going to be huge this summer. She looks stunning as always in the video, and I think it's going to be the hit that it deserves to be. And watch this space - we are yet to see the best of Diana Vickers.

If she is as good as every1 makes out she is y has it taken so long 4 her 2 bring her FIRST single out, she was on the X factor a year & a half ago and she wouldn't have even had 2 go on the show in the 1st place if she was really that talented and wrote her own songs aswell.

Also if you look at the likes of Alexandra Burke and JLS who were on the show the same year there's really no comparison. Maybe if she brought out a song that showed she could do something else with her voice aswell instead of singing exactly the same right thru the song even more people would like it.

I gave it 2 stars only cause the chorus grows on u after a while otherwise it would've just been 1 star. The song & the video altogether just isn't good enough!

What a surprise another pop reject tries for their 15 minutes of fame. This is one of the most awful sounding songs ever. It sounds like cats screaming to be let out of an oven. You had your chance 2 years ago when people had a vague idea who you were. Your time has been and gone sorry.

this is one of the best songs that many children between the age of 9=15 would mostly listen to the content of the song is tip top aroo and is the most best song ever you wont regret the money you payed and its even better because it comes with a video. i rate this song 9 and half out of 10 hope this helps later peeps :)

I know that Bad Boys was quite a big hit for Alexandra Burke but this song is MUCH better than 'Bad Boys'. I tjust shows that if you try you CAN be better than the one ahead of you (If you get what I mean :P) I supported Diana all the way through the X Factor and SO happy that she's getting a single out now. I read an interview with her in Sugar the other day and it says she worked really hard on her album. Looking forward to when her album comes out! :D

This might be the dirty old man in me speaking, but God do I love her... ! ;-) Very clever video, letting her transform from the innocent girl next door through a quirky Avril Lavigne type into a hyper-sexy vamp and back (and forth). Diana is probably the best, most unique star to come of the X Factor.. she certainly will be the most successful in the many years to come. Oh yeah... and go and watch her LIVE at her May 2010 tour ! her voice live is superb !

Saw her sing this live at the glee club in Birmingham ...wow...this girl can sing, she is such a talented young lady, and a real cool trendy chick!! I am impressed she has put the real hard ground work and has toured up and down Britain at small gigs, a true hard working girl! Diana rocks!!!

This is pop as it should be done. Sexy with loads of attitude. She sounds great and looks awesome.

I adore this single. Better than any Xfactor contestant has ever produced and a single that is brilliant on any assessment. Yes the voice is not to everyone's taste but this is a solid pop track that lodges itself in the brain. I think this girl will be big this year! As for the video, I personally enjoyed the outfits.

This song is amazing, the video is amazing, this girl is amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting her after a gig at the Glee Club in Birmingham and she was SO nice to everyone :) She was genuinely shocked to see so many people waiting outside for her. It's just annoying how so many people will prejudge the song based on what they saw on X Factor. After landing the lead role in The Rise And Fall of Little Voice, it is clear that her voice has become so much more stronger. During the gig I went to she sung all of the songs from her upcoming debut album, and what an album it is going to be! Biggest of the year so far in my opinion, and atleast she has waited and made it the best of her ability, rather than rushing out an album full of less than decent covers, ahem Eoghan Quigg.

Diana really is a star :) and this song justifies it.
