Brilliant writing, well developed characters and stories, just keeps getting more and more intense. Makes me laugh and makes me cry in the same episode.

Small town supernatural weirdness? I was reluctant at first, thinking it was going to be too similar to Welcome to Night Vale. King Falls AM has it's own vibe - find your people, stick together and keeping going through the madness. Partly a radio show, partly an unfolding story about love, forgiveness, and supernatural/authoritarian horror. One of my favourites.

Like a super emo version of the Night Vale podcast.

I really like the format, the flow of the conversation feels natural and easy to immerse into. Well worth a binge. Some of the shorter episodes would be frustrating if it was your only ‘fix’ for the week, but with so many episodes in the library, playing catch up like me was great! I had hooked from the first episode.

KFAM has amazing voice acting, storytelling and characters. It creates fantastic and quirky world building which mirrors the modern world but still gives the listeners a sense of escapism.

It will make you laugh, cry, give you chills and make you want to throw your phone across the room.

It truly is one of the best podcast out there

Love the plot and characters, but frequently conversations devolve into arguing about the same topic for an extended period of time which gets a bit boring. Moreover many similar conversations, such as between Greg and Ben in the 30’s episodes, seem to repeat over and over again. After a while it just feels like filler to extend the episode to near 30 minutes. Have only listened up to episode 45 so hoping this changes.

Subscribed to KFAM since the beginning and i really appreicate all the work and time that goes into making this drama :) it has the right balance of eerie, humor, mystery and love... definetly subscribe if you love mystery dramas :)

This is such a brilliant podcast. It’s got comedy, drama, spooky stuff. I don’t normally like scary stories but somehow this podcast can scare me but still make me desperate to listen to the next episode. The voice acting is top notch, production is amazing. Long may it continue!!

I listened to the entire series once. Then I listened again. And now I’ve just finished my third time.

I don’t know what it is about it: from the first tentative opening to the brand-new “Ben and Sammy Show” you are brought into the world of King Falls, a small, quiet mountain town that is barely hiding the paranormal happenings from the public. Like any early morning AM show there are adverts from local businesses, calls from residents of the town, and, of course, news of odd going-ons to report on.

By the time you hit the 75th episode, you realise what you’ve actually signed up to is a study on friendship and love and the lengths characters go to preserve relationships. They feel like real people, with real lives, just trying to get along while the odds are stacking against them. It’s one of the most genuine, heart on sleeve, funny and touching dramas out there.

Welcome to King Falls. Watch out for General Abeline, and don’t bother Herschel.

As I write this I'm about to re-listen to King Falls AM all over again. I fell in love with the whimsical nature of Episode One and then as the plot lines and characters got more developed I've found myself beyond invested.

Thank you so much to all who are involved in making King Falls AM, you've made me laugh out loud in too may public places, never mind cry, scream and desperately wish these characters were real so I could hug them all.

Imagine cult supernatural drama like Buffy, The X-Files and SPN, put it in a dream small town like Stars Hollow, then be introduced to the most wonderful humans in existence through the medium of late night AM radio. This town and this show has stolen my heart a thousand times over. KFAM is full of comedy, drama, delights and heartache, exhilarating music and top-notch audio production. Once you meet protagonists Sammy Stevens and Ben Arnold, and the residents of King Falls, you’ll be soul-happy. Listening to this isn’t just entertainment, it’s like finding a second home.

there's so much to love about king falls am. the characterisation is impeccable, the acting is magnificent, the cast are wonderful; there's nothing not to appreciate. this show is so obviously a massive labour of love, and it is absolutely worth the listen

This is storytelling in art form. It's funny and clever and has so many talented people involved in it that what you end up listening to is 10 to 50 minutes of the most engaging and immersive story you're going to find in your podcast feed. Horror and comedy abound but more than that there is a real heart beating in this show, this town, this little radio station. This is my absolute favourite podcast, it’s so well written and has a great blend of comedy and tragedy, also sammy is the best.

King Falls is beautiful! An amazing range of characters that you connect to on so many levels, incredible voice acting and such an incredible mixture of drama, horror and comedy at its best! I'm on my re-listen straight after I caught up with the episodes! Incredible, good, good fun, and super visually evoking, with the way it's all played out and described!

The aching emotional connection I now have for these goofy characters is unreal. Burger king of kings.

I can’t praise this podcast enough, it has the most beautiful writing, incredible, lovable characters, and immersive story I’ve ever experienced. Every character is in depth and explored well, while you have some you would gladly die for, you also have some that you would GLADLY STRANGLE (you’ll KNOW who I’m talking about). It’s well paced and funny, while not hesitating to rip your heart out at any given moment, it doesn’t take long to kick off but when it does... well you’ll definitely join us in the unending screaming that is the enjoyment of this wonderful podcast.

About two weeks ago, I was looking for some audio drama to listen to. After listening to the first episode, I was hooked. I have now finished the end of 'Phase One' and boy, I can't praise this enough. I've listened non-stop to every episode over the past two weeks, and had to come and review it so other people can reap the benefits.

The style is that of a late night radio talk show, and such a premise doesn't disappoint. If you like the paranormal, you'll love this! You feel like you're tuning into a station in the middle of the night. The writing is sublime; brilliant wit and comedy, mixed in with true drama and pathos. There were episodes where I went from laughing out loud in my car, to on the verge of tears within minutes. The voice acting is phenomenal; the range of characters who you live and breathe with is great.

Anyway, listen to this! You won't regret it.

Completely recommend everyone coming to King Falls. It’s an amazing town. The General will show you around the woods, Big John will show you the best deer stands, Emily, Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth will give you a comprehensive guide to the library and the rainbow lights will leave you in awe. Just make sure to catch Sammy and Ben or you may lose yourself there forever.

I cannot describe how much I have fallen in love with this show!

I listened to an episode a year ago and have been meaning to go back and listen to the rest. I recently changed podcast app so I had to redownload all my podcasts and decided to carry on listening to it. I'm a little ashamed that it's taken SO LONG to catch up.

Between the characters (who are all really loveable and very believable), the storyline (which has light happy moments and also heart wretching moments), and everything in between, it's an amazing piece of entertainment in short easy-to-listen chunks.

If you don't do anything today, go listen to the 1st episode of this podcast and fall into the pit that is King Falls AM. You can thank me later!

I love how King Falls AM sticks solidly to its premise of being a small town late night AM radio show. Brilliant cast and writers. I can not rate this podcast highly enough.

I was in a bit of a rut with podcasts; there are only so many interviews and stuff you can listen to before you get bored, so I was looking for something different.

I'm so glad I came across this; it's funny (and ridiculous at times) but there is actual proper drama going on too.

So yeah, I made my way through 2 years worth of episodes in about a week (my work rate has suffered!) and I'm hooked!

I listen to a lot of podcasts of all types of genres, and King Falls AM is by far the best and totally unique (which is hard to find nowadays) show out there just now. The show is funny, with some well thought out characters, the acting is top notch and the story lines are strong. I honestly think this would make a great TV show, like if Northern Exposure met Eerie Indiana. Give it a listen you won't be disappointed... and tell all your friends. Shotgun Sammy...

I just discovered this recently and have listened to the first 13 episodes. So far it's cool, witty and well written, a bit like Nightvale but unique enough to be good in it's own right. I'd like longer episodes but so far its all thumbs up, and it's not to long what have you got to loose it is free!

It takes a lot for me to laugh out loud at a podcast, this does it.

A crazy radio show that involves a creepy, supernatural town, funny, quippy quotes. A radio host moves to a new town where the inhabitants of the town phone in with spooky happenings in the town. The show is fun to listen to and is always different every week. It's definitely a good listen.

Very entertaining - I enjoy this because the acting is good and the dramatic device of a small town supernatural soap told from the perspective of a late night radio show keeps the story interesting. Does no-one sleep in King Falls? Is this town similar to Nightvale? I don't know the answer to either of these questions, or how the classification system works, but I would have found this podcast a lot more easily had it been in 'Performing Arts' rather than 'Comedy'... I'm now a devoted fan.

A great podcast you can lose yourself in. Perfect to listen to late at night with just the right amount of weird. Keep up the good work!
