First time listener, not a cricket fan but love listening to Greg on the radio and the Fast and Curious pod (huge F1 fan!) … loved Tailenders!

Funniest episode ever this week, hope Mat gets well soon. Had to pull over as I was crying after his injury selfie.

I have been a huge cricket fan for a very long time but I don’t know all the technical stuff by a long shot. Tailenders is the perfect podcast for people on both sides of the cricket fence and the quizzes that Matchin comes up with are amazing. A personal favourite is crusic from the early days.

Been in it from the start and I’m still loving the five star nonsense

Waste of time and data

So, tailenders is, in a word, the best podcast on the market (free market) for anyone in the UK who likes irreverence, fun, a tiny bit of cricket, but mainly just listening to a great group of friends, having a great time.

Do you remember at school there was always a bunch of kids…..not the cool kids (real life losers that they were) but the slightly geeky kids who could make fun and laughter out of anything, and just wanted to be loved … well Greg, Felix, Jimmy and Matt (As well as Sharkey and every other guest) are those guys.

You feel the warmth, love, and genuine sentiment in every single podcasting word. It’s joyous, heart warming, and joyous (again!).

The highest compliment I could give is that you finish listening to every Tailenders podcast just wishing you were part of the team … part of the in crowd.

Thank you, for making me smile, laugh, and love life every single Tailenders Tuesday.

This is my inaugural review (edited). This is not your average kind of cricket podcast. Utterly nuts and a possibly a complete waste of data. Go well.

Best podcast out there, buzzing to listen every week. Cricket/music/funny/wholesome/class.

Out of the 2000mb data I have each month, I find the 48-76mb I use to listen to Tailenders each month to be of sufficient quality to justify the usage. There’s loosely-based cricket chat, garden furniture shoutouts, the Jimmy chord, Mattchin’s quiz and that bloke from Radio 1 breakfast. Throw in the occasional guest, the wrong trousers, Wong’s network of spies and human being inaugural babies, what’s not to like about it?

Hang out at your local cricket ground. Watch the game and listen to the podcast. Perfect.

Never fails to amaze me and how this podcast gets better & better each episode well worth the time that leaves you wanting more!

I have yet to find a better use of my time since dismantling the Corby trouser press in my hotel room.

Absolutely not a waste of time (nor data) Ten on ten (5 stars - the most you can get)

One thing I can’t abide is time being wasted. And if you really pressed me for a second thing I can’t abide, it would be that I detest wasted data.

Trailfinders not only puts data to exceptionally good use (how could we all play ‘Don’t fret, I know what you’re thinking’ otherwise I ask you?) but with episodes rarely running over 2 hours I still have plenty of time to tune into radio Kazakhstan, although they do often report their shows are starting later than planned due to “scheduling issues”… and those are the ones where they’re not even interviewing Mark Steel

Let me put it to you, has there even been a better use of time than a man from Bristol named Matt calling up with a loose (but highly cricket based) family connection then some years later playing live at the Palladium and wrestling with Richard Osman with the day time quizzical crown? He could have been rolling soles with that time, but instead he set the wheels in motion that would see him become (and cede) his title as Bristol’s 38th. then 11th coolest person (or so my data analyst tells me).

Irreverent, irrelevant, informative and utter nonsense. Love it, keep it up, go well.

Since episode 1. All my favourite things in one place

In a nutshell, Tailenders has got me through some pretty tough times over the last few years. For someone who is an absolute cricket badger like me, it’s like a warm cup of tea by the fire after a frosty wintry walk. The highlight of my week - long live Mattchin 💛

Listened for years can’t wait to get tickets for one of the live shows one year. On the latest episode it mentions stadium names and ends. Please tell me on end is called “ bit spicy “

Been listening to this for ages and have only just around to reviewing it. Mark Steel eh? Brilliant podcast.. it has something for everyone regardless of Cricket knowledge. Well worth a listen.

I used to love this podcast. Sadly now pandering to people who wouldn’t ever even listen to the podcast. If you love terms like batters, Mens cricket, and Mens ashes!😆 This is the podcast for you. Greg James might as well be called PC principal!😁

Most listeners want to listen to Mattchin not some random female cricketer no one’s cares about. Unsubscribed.

These two gentlemen have kept me sane throughout these strangest of times. Together they navigate the woke twattery and looney liberal left. Toby improves my vocabulary every week and explains things to save me having to wade through the main stream media bilge. Nick’s knowledge and humour compliments Toby’s more straight man role. The Dr Peterson segment is brilliant, but he does sound a little like bloody Kermit the Frog.

At the start you just think what is going on but by the end it is all solved and you are tight up in a Viking embrace you never want to leave

What a podcast, great group of friends having a laugh. Matchin and guests are great but it seems to be getting more and more woke (clearly being pushed by the BBC).

- go solo and bring back some of the edge.

This loosely based cricket podcast is not only an easy listen but uplifting one too. Anyone that who either has any interest in cricket or has not interest and looking for a podcast to while away the hours then this is it! Not only is it fantastically bizarre and brilliant at the same time, it gives insight into some cricketing minds previously not ventured. Nothing but 5*!

Feels like Mattchin is being phased out in place of attempts to bring more female guests in. Mattchin is the main reason I listen and when he’s not on I tend to skip the episode. Make Mattchin a core presenter please!
