Great podcast

I’ve listened to this podcast a bit late but it is fantastic. I have genuinely laughed out loud several times, which makes me look insane to the outside world. If this was still a running podcast I would have happily donated money to keep it running!

I heard about this podcast after listening to All Killa No Filla, another one worth listening too. I wasn’t disappointed, just started series 3 and it carries on where mysteries and ghosts left off. With Barry’s views on things and how he struggles to see the difference between reality and not is something to behold. The chemistry between him and Ray is superb although you do end up feeling a little sorry for Barry.

A definite 5stars!

I’ve listened to these podcasts three times now. It’s brought back to my life the same obsession I had for comedy as a teenager, when I would watch Not the Nine O’clock News, Python, Connolly, Young Ones et al, until the video tape had worn out. Good luck with the Parapod film gentlemen.

The byplay between Barry (adorable) and Ian is way beyond any consideration of the content. I have literally cried with laughter, walking down the street at this podcast.

The fantastic Ray Peacock plays two great characters of modern British comedy, the sceptical, wise cracking Ian Boldsworth (catchphrase “get life, Barry”) and the Karl Pilkington-beating Barry Dodds. He has the Geordie accent just right, and the below-average-man-in-the-street off pat, just occasionally slipping into Partridge-level cringe-worthiness.

Barry Dodds; a believer of just about everything. If there's a conspiracy out there, he will find it! Armed with his Poundland ghosthunting equipment and magic (possibly illegal) taxi, he will search the world for proof! Ian, on the other hand, just wants to finish his R2-D2.

Love this podcast. Do not recommend listening to it in public, snorting and nearly peeing yourself in your local town centre is not a good look.

Top comedy laugh a minute and you will learn how to breakdown ideas with logic and common sense.

Ian's on top form again, making my way through these podcasts and having a great laugh on Barry's behalf, if only he did some research!

It is an absolute treat hearing Barry present his fairy stories, and even more so hearing Ray thoroughly dismantle all of them.

A genuinely fun and funny experience that I encourage everyone to give a go

Quickly developed into very funny podcast and best one out there.

Between Barry's earnest willingness to believe to believe in anything he reads and Ray's frustrated skepticism and logic we get a pure comedic gem and a brief glimpse as to what the X-Files would have been like if it was set in the North of England. Would have rated this six stars if I could

Just finished catching up on all 3 series today (where have I been?) and now I genuinely feel sad that I have nothing to listen to that is as entertaining. Happy I started it, gutted I've finished!

This podcast is wonderful, sadly it has ended after 3 brilliant series where Team Dodds faced off without facts against Team Peacock/Boldsworth and their cynicism

But a film is in the works

Series 1 was about Ghosts and sinister events

Series 2 was mysteries such as Bigfoot

Series 3 was conspiracies including the Moon Landing (1969 Barry 😛) all 3 are worth listening to and starting from the beginning is recommended to hear evolution of Barry

I listen to so many comedy podcasts, but this is the one that makes me laugh the hardest. Ray and Barry are so funny, and such a brilliant comedy pairing. I love this podcast so much, and can't wait to see what they do next. Now I'm off to listen to them all again.
