Consistently brilliant podcast, an important part of film culture.
Love the podcast, specially the Festival coverage. Jonathan Romney is a fantastic listen when he's on.
Upon discovering this podcast, I did wonder whether it would be the sort that dissapears up it's own bum (I subscribe to Film Comment, so could imagine that outcome). I was very pleasantly surprised to find out I was well off the mark. Regular host Violet is straight talking and down to earth. Most of the guest critics are great to listen to. Not as keen on the interview-type episodes, but most are a decent listen. Highly recommended
