This is a great concept, well designed, smart, fun, and by season 2 finale a thrilling podcast.

Not only that but a great heart too.

Recommended listening. Absolutely hooked. Love the characters so much.

You have to listen to this. I enjoyed it every step of the way from what I thought was going to be a podcast I’d listen to occasionally was a podcast I could hardly to listen to. In sort I became hooked!

I love this podcast! Found it two days ago and have binge listened. I’ve really enjoyed the voice acting and the sci-fi plot. Can’t believe I’ve only got four episodes left until I hit the latest (ep56)!

Easily the best audio drama I’ve ever discovered, gripping and personal.

I love this podcast. The story is really different and the characters stay interesting.

I cannot express how much I love the Bright Sessions. The characters are so well developed, and their voice actors suit the roles so well! The plot is fast paced enough to be interesting, but there are also slow moments to enjoy. The sound design is really immersive, so you feel like you’re really in the room. All around, a 10/10 podcast,

LOVING this show however finding it near IMPOSSIBLE to keep track of where I am. There are episode numbers when on the iPhone and then on my iMac it’s the podcasts own numbers , this added with the complicated episodes names...I’m pretty close to giving up out of frustration tbh!

This little podcast has it all, drama, strong characters, warmth, humour and it’s moving. Highly recommend.

Lauren Shippen is playing with ideas around superheroes/mental powers and has a cracking plot here, but she also creates believable, vulnerable characters who develop well.

The acting is at a very high level from an ensemble cast, with the excellent Julia Morizawa anchoring everything as Dr Bright, who isn’t as clean cut as she first appears.

An amazing podcast that reminds me of early X-Men comics. Great voice talent and writing.

I can happily say I've been binge listening to these whilst driving and even whilst at work. You really start to feel for the characters, well written and performed.

Super interesting idea, kind of like the Psychology Sessions with Xmen and how such powers would affect people in the real world. The writing is simply amazing. Seriously one of the best written and acted piece of Media I have ever experienced. I can't recommend this enough!

Loving this! I only started listening yesterday and I'm already halfway through season 2. It's like if the X-Men had therapy.

Come on who wouldn't want to know what the real struggles are being a telepath or being able to time travel.

It feeds my geeky side wanting to know what the daily difficulties are and god Damien.

It's so intriguing listening to this through the format of audio tapes too. Like your listening in to a private conversation. Which is what your basically doing.

Writing, performance, stories and characters - all done incredibly well! You could say it's like a more realistic take on X-Men, but it's the human stories between all these diverse characters that makes this podcast such an enormous pleasure to listen to.

Excellent podcast. The story is really engaging and absorbing. Better than many other drama podcasts out there and I've tried a few. There's a few niggles with the way it's produced and the concept of everything supposedly being taped conversations can get in the way sometimes: "I'm just going to tape our chat because... you know like it seems like erm... a good idea..."

However, I think we can forgive these niggles as the story and characters are engaging and it's a fresh/interesting perspective on superpowers that doesn't rely on cliche.

Gripping, powerful and eloquent writing wrapped around a small cast of brilliant characters.

I binged through all the episodes within 3 days. The writing is good, clever even. The voice acting is fantastic. You can visualize the characters, they each have their quirks and unique personalities. The premise is interesting and the episodes consistent. I described it on twitter as a more consistent version of Heroes, and I stand by that.

In addicted to this podcast. Brilliantly thought out and performed! Love the characters and the mysterious organisation. Cleverly done.

I absolutely fell in love with the Bright Sessions from the first episode; the story line is really engaging, the acting is SUPERB and every episode leaves me wanting more. The characters are really well fleshed out and realistic, the relationships between them are believable, and I feel for each and every one of them, even the ones I don't like. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new podcast!

Storytelling via therepy sessions! Incredible idea, wonderfully executed. Great acting and plot, and it's getting more intriguing as time goes on. This podcast appearing on my phone is a highlight of my week :D

The development of characters and storyline is so compelling that I cannot stop listening. Any break I have to take is plagued by the need to listen to more. Fantastic work.
