I can not listen to this woman at all. Her voice is so croaky, irritating and mechanical, sounds like she is constantly on the verge of tears. Awful.

I'm loving this podcast

This is refreshingly honest and entertaining - have so enjoyed learning about your life and new job, and (I surprise myself) about world of tech startups! I had no idea what this was - totally fascinating.
Well written and so easy to listen to, apart from when you ask for a raise where I felt so tense for you I had to take my headphones out, ha! Brilliant job - please keep going!

Just listen already!

The Intern is a delight when it pops up on my feed. The host, Alison, is honest and open and nothing short of a breath of fresh air. Not frequent enough to get annoying, but regular enough to consider it a treat: highly recommended.

Awesome, more please!

I’m a freelancer and I like to listen to podcasts while I’m working - this is easily the best one I’ve heard this year. Your conversational style is really engaging and I’m rooting so hard for you! (And I also kinda want to move to NYC and intern at a tech startup now.)

Refreshing!

Alison’s take on making it in the big city is so personable and relatable. I work in London and I feel like we’re in this together. Looking forward to how this pans out!

Just listened to the five episodes back to back and cannot wait for the next one. So refreshing to get someone else's perspective on starting off.

Such a good podcast, easily one of my favourites so far.
Only tiny moan is that I wished the uploads were more regular !
Keep going Alison 🙌🏻 killing it.

Thank you so much for making such an honest and well made podcast. Not only can I identify with the lack of certainty in the working world but I have also though about starting a podcast and this is great inspiration. Really well made and keep going, I am rooting for you from Norwich, England! And please never stop I need to hear how it all went!

A must listen

This is a really good podcast. Along the lines of the Startup podcast by Gimlet. The host Allison is very endearing and gives you a good insight into the tech startup world from a newbies perspective. Nice to hear what it is like as a young person in New York too. Looking forward to hearing more!

Looking forward to the next podcasts
