I absolutely adore this podcast. I have lived for Jonathan since Gay of Thrones and he is so inspirational living his life authentically himself and gives others the courage and permission to do the same (me included). As a young gay millennial man I’ve never seen someone I identify with so much and this podcast just is so him and is why we all love him. He takes topics you might find boring because you haven’t engaged with them before and makes them so accessible and interesting and his curiosity is so earnest that it makes the conversations so relatable. I have recommended this to all my friends and so should you. So excited for more episodes. Make sure you subscribe guys. Thanks queen byeeeee.

Incomprehensible

JVN is an extremely intuitive interviewer. There are some very complex topics approached through the lens of openness. JVN challenges many perceptions, both of JVN & of the topics approached. Well worth downloading.

Fun and educational!

Girl! This was super great to listen to. I was shocked with the comment around plastic bags. I thought they were recycled. I’ll try to be more creative at my little kitchen in London. It’s almost impossible to recycle but let’s get creative. xx

I love how interesting and informative this podcast is. Makes me fall in love with Jonathan so much more. My only issue is that I wish he would not interrupt guests so much. Every episode, I find myself thinking J please be quiet and let them finish. But other than that, a great show

I LOVE these podcasts and I have learnt so much from them, particularly about politics. I’ve always had so many questions and who really wants to spend their time googling them and taking notes?? It’s dull, boring and non-contextual. Jonathon does everything needed to flip that on the head make learning exciting and relevant. Thank you so so so so sooooo much JVN 👑 xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I love love love the topics covered in this podcast and I love love loooove JVN. My only issue is that he cuts across his talkers very often, which means that the topic gets changed and we don’t get to hear what the expert was about to say. Otherwise, he’s incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and lovely with all his guests!

Getting Curious reminds us to listen, really listen to what experts have to say and giving them the respect they deserve. All in a delightful, childlike sense of wonder. Dare you not to smile!

I wish there were more people like JVN on this planet. He is living his truth and in turn he will encourage people to be brave and live their truth. It’s hard!

I just wish he’d stop using the word “like” as punctuation. It belies his intelligence.

He’s also one of the most perfectly androgynous humans on the planet. Props xx

I tried to listen to this for about 15min but I couldn’t actually hear the guest speaking because JVN was constantly interrupting them and peppering the interview with annoying high pitched interjections.

I could listen to JVN talk about paint drying and be entertained and engaged, but I love that I’m right there learning alongside Jonathan.

Someone recommended this podcast in FB chat and I decided to check it out. Well, best recommendation for a while. Such a good variety of topics. Loved the Brexit chat - well done Jonathan trying to understand the UK, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Ireland etc issue in regards to Brexit. Literally, it’s Harder to find a messier situation and successfully untangle it! High five, great job. Can’t wait to work through the episodes. X

Love, love, love this podcast!!! Found it through Reese Witherspoon posting her appearance on her Instagram. Really fascinated by not only his British accent and where she is from! And also fascinated by his content. I’d love for JVN to revisit Brexit so that an Aussie in England can actually understand it.

Jonathan is super cute, smart and funny. The topics are from such a broad spectrum, that everyone will learn something new!

I only recently discovered this podcast at the beginning of summer and at first I thought it was a lot to get through but these podcasts are just so great I’ve binged them all so quickly and I’m now up to date and I find myself itching for my next fix because I can’t wait for the newest release. Honestly love JVN so much and this is such a beautiful concept for a podcast cannot speak highly enough also it’s refreshing as someone who also has ADHD to listen to someone in some form of capacity in the media who’s brain works similarly to mine it’s such a little thing but it makes me smile sometimes when he’s like “OO WHAT ABOUT...” and goes off on a little tangent most amazing podcast ever I love it so much and I’m so happy I discovered it

Delivered in his characteristically buoyant and irrepressible style, this podcast provides an entertaining peep behind the curtain on subjects that can be baffling, as well as on those that may be more familiar territory. Worth a listen to hear JVN’s occasional use of a British accent, which btw is adorable.
