As usual this is a superior financial podcast and the latest one hosting David Rosenberg was excellent. He is one of the clearest and most honest interviewees that Erik Townsend regularly invites. Particularly commendable is his ability to hold his views in light of strong opposing opinions, and yet still taking into account the market. Highly recommended.

If I had to choose only one podcast out of the available universe then MacroVoices would be the one. That’s coming from someone who has spent the last 35 years in finacial markets. Eric and Patrick provide what I consider to an essential service. Keep it up guys!!

I think Macrovoices is the best podcast because there is real pushback or challenge to guest views rather than simply agreeing with guests. This is far more informative and brings the best out of the guest as well.

The best Macro podcast available. The slide decks are invaluable. MacroVoices is always insightful, hosts are top notch experts. The quality of Erik and Patrick’s introduction analysis is second to none.

If you are not a regular listener to MacroVoices, then you are missing out big time. Each episode starts with the general market wrap, followed by an insightful interview with one of the many expert guests and finishes with the “post game segment” that takes a more in-depth look at a key aspect of the macro picture.

I’m a professional multi-asset portfolio manager at an international firm. For anyone managing money I highly recommend listening in on their weekly podcasts. Each episode has a guest and the host is discussing a number of up-to-date topics. Usually the knowledge and depth of the guest is pretty good and the discussion goes far beyond what you read in most research papers. Topics often deal with issues before they hit the mainstream media. You don’t always have to agree, but it is good to be aware. Excellent to listen on the train in the morning.

This is my must listen to podcast. Always has great guests and Eric lets them talk and fully explain their views. Fantastic.

Very interesting take of the macro events of the week, with great guest. Eric does and great sum of important price driving news on oil, stocks and gold in particular, with Patrick going through the charts. The show also looks for guests with a contrarian view to the host at times and Eric gives the time for their view to also be shared. Subscribed to the show, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely one of the best macro podcasts out there.

The content is very insightful, the guests are outstanding and Erik does a fantastic job guiding the conversations to maximise relevant insights for market participants. Erik’s expertise and views are also highly valuable - he understood the market implications of the coronavirus way before most commentators for instance. Listen to it religiously

Some of the best macro analysis you will find; highly, highly recommend

The content on this podcast is unashamedly pitched at the professional listener; people who work in finance in some capacity or other. Accordingly, every episode will feature jargon and terms that have me scrambling to recall Finance 101 from my MBA course, and much of it will only mean something to derivatives traders or specialist investors. But a modicum of knowledge will nevertheless allow a listener to gain great insights from people who are renowned in their fields; a must if you have investments or care about the power of markets.

One area for possible improvement is that a perspective of the world beyond the USA would be welcome; it is referred to but generally from an American perspective that feels a little bubble-like.

Always entertains but most importantly enlightens. Absolutely best financial markets /macro weekly summary out there.

I came across this podcast by accident when I was googling for another interview with Hugh Hendry. I love it and really rate the depth & breadth of the analysis and commentary. Also, I like the link to materials on the website.
