For a topic that is complex and diffcult to comprehend - for the lay person anyway! - this podcast is clear, comprehensive and easy to understand. A great intro to Dogen.

I was lucky enough to attend the talk and Q & A session with Taigen Dan Leighton, but it was such a thought provoking evening that it's amazing to have it as a podcast too so I can revisit it. Thoroughly recommend this and the other Wimbledon Zen talks - and if you can attend in person, even better! It's a really great way to learn more about Zen.

If you ever tried to read Dogen and simply gave up after half a page...as I have...then this podcast is for you! Engaging, entertaining and informative, this helped me understand the life, history and teachings of Dogen in a simple and easily understandable way. A must for all who are new to zen or just plain curious. Well done Wimbledon Zen!

A very interesting podcast. I'm still quite new to Soto Zen meditation and trying to get my head round some of Dogan's philosophy just gave me a headache and confused me more. This podcast really broke things down and gave me helpful tips on reading Dogan in the future. Thank you so much! Can't wait to hear more of your stuff, might even try to sit in your group.
