I've just discovered Chris' podcast having read his book a few years ago. I'm working my way through his podcasts (note: each is around just 7-10 mins long) and each provides a very concise overview about how another "normal person" started up their own side hustle. He makes a point of not "just" focusing upon IT, app designs or ideas which require large wads of cash & many covered their costs very quickly & then moved into profit. A tip: listen to every episode with the thought "I wonder how I can apply these techniques to my hustle?" & I bet you'll be cooking up a hustle or two yourself pretty darn quick! Great show.

Chris Guillebeau provides a wonderful and inspirational podcast which I try to listen to everyday. It is not inspirational in a fluffy kind of way. You actually will learn a lot, and get a lot of solid practical tips and ideas that you can use and experiment with in your quest to start your own side hustle. The stories presented by Chris are mini case studies illustrating many side hustle instances of what to do, how to do it, what works and what doesn’t work. And best of all, all this is free!!

I recently found out about Chris through mentorbox! He’s a great teacher and his books are awesome. It’s also great to hear other stories whilst I’m on my own journey!

Chris is able on daily basis provide real examples of people successfully starting and growing side hustles alongside their day jobs.

The podcasts give very different examples in various industries. They also cover different types of hustles to show that all kinds of things are possible. Chris also helps highlight people’s challenges on their journey.

I recommend you listen if you want to hear about all the potentialities out in the world to make money/ start your own thing on the side.

Been a fan of Chris for about 3 or 4 years and I knew all about SHS but never ‘seemed to have the time’ to listen. I’ve turned that around now an am addicted. Binge listens are not infrequent! Highly recommended for anyone looking to make a few extra bucks or indeed to find their calling.

Easy to listen on your commute as they ate short and to the point. You can listen to 6-10 of them on one workout session.

I started to listen to the show a few months ago. This month I decided to turn my home into a side hustle, I live on a canal boat I the uk. I created a taster day with overnight stay, advertised on Facebook locally and I was inundated with bookings. I’m pretty much full until September with a taster and stay making £120 a night while letting people have a great experience on the uk canals

After listening to Chris and his daily stories it is clear that everyone needs a side hustle. The freedom another source of income can provide is awesome. He won't tell you how to do it but he will help get the ideas flowing!

Short, sharp and full of great ideas. Not there to be copied but a wealth of resources and advice, def add it to your podcast list.

I love podcasts and, frankly, listen to too many to really keep up with them all, but I've made time in my day to include Side Hustle School because I love the dose of the unexpected and interesting it brings.

I've not yet come up with my viable SH idea but I think with time and being alive to the possibilities around me I'll get there. And when I do it will be largely in part because of this podcast.

This is a great and inspiring show. Chris is meeting a genuine unmet need with this, most of us don't want to be giving up our jobs to be full time entrepreneurs, we just want to add to our financial security and have some fun with side projects. The case study format, frequent key points reviews, and natural interest, make for a bang up to date pedagogy (so you learn lots quickly and easily).

Very straightforward, insightful and inspiring listening, and entertaining too. Some may criticise it for lacking depth and content, but that's precisely what keeps it accessible and listened to almost every day and there's nothing from stopping further research on the stories that appeal to the individual listener.

A short and sweet podcast that actually explains real side hustles and how they got off the ground. It's not a guest who has hit it big and then doesn't provide any value to you. The length is great to get a bit of inspiration and some useful tips. Really enjoying it.

I thought this podcast would be great daily listening but have become frustrated with the lack of actual content. The fact that we never hear directly from the case studies is frustrating. Facts are often vague and lack specifics. Whilst it is nice to hear the variety of "hustles" that people have undertaken as a source of inspiration the lack of actually information makes them fairly useless. As far as I am concerned they could be entire fabrications.

Today I listened to the show about the government analyst and his profit making scheme. The show gave absolutely no details. It stated that the person purchased gift cards and received some air miles for this. Then used the gift cards to purchase items that he resold for the same price or profit. It left me asking what gift cards, what was he purchasing that he could resell instantly at a profit via gift cards? If you want to inspire people to take action there needs to be concrete information (I don't mean spoon feed people directions).

The irony is that this podcast has become the ultimate hustle. Chris is making money from advertising on this podcast which requires very little work. He is just another person making money from telling people how to make money.

Side Hustle School usually starts off with a quirky story about someone who has made at least a reasonable amount of money doing a side hustle while working full-time/raising a family etc. The idea is usually something you wouldn't expect (e.g. fish tank reviews) and before you can start to think "I wouldn't know how to do that", Chris breaks down the transferable elements of the idea (e.g. You don't need to be a fish tank expert, but do you have another niche interest? Could you set up an affiliate hustle?). The podcasts are a nice length, not too long (even if you're like me and prefer written information to audio), and there is a promise of many more interesting stories to come.

Chris has a great manner and his short, daily episodes make it easy to listen. The stories are interesting and sometimes quirky. I quickly shifted my attitude - I could do this, you could do this.

I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this podcast. When I launched my own side hustle I read the $100 startup so was interested as to what this would contain. As an entrepreneur - side hustler it's great to hear others ideas, feel inspired and also think 'damn why didn't I think of that?'.. Fantastic amount of effort and work has gone into this excellent podcast series. Never mind the cost of all of the extra things such as equipment, mailing out costs, website set up etc. Most people can't even imagine how much value they are getting here. And it's free.
