Listened to most crime podcasts and stumbled across this, it is without doubt the best. The crimes are relatively unknown, super researched, excellently written and bloody funny. The chemistry between the two hosts is so unforced and their voices are so easy to listen to. Love the real estate, love the crimes, love the jokes -keep it coming!!

So far I’ve spat out a mouthful of wine, then coffee, then toothpaste - it is very, very rarely anything makes me laugh out loud but damn, the tears are streaming down my face and I’m in stitches. I know I shouldn’t be laughing but I just cannot help it.

Very funny but respectful take on true crime, delivered by two genuine down to earth guys who thankfully subvert the genre from being too somber. Unlike most hosts of true crime podcasts they avoid coming across as pretentious egomaniacs, who make themselves the centre of every story while they play detective using their extensive history of being, say, a fire chief, to ‘solve’ crimes that have baffled professionals for years. The hosts unfortunately haven’t recorded their grandgram telling them how proud she is of them, so you’ll have to listen to ‘up and vanished ‘ to fill that hole in your life. In closing, they don’t take themselves too seriously and keep it as light and entertaining as possible making them the best in the genre in my opinion

This is hands down my favourite podcast ever. I just can’t get enough of it. I never thought comedy and crime could be a good mix, but here we are! I love the fact that so much research goes into each episode. James and Jimmy are hilarious!

I love crime and I love comedy so this is the perfect pod cast for me. These two are the perfect match to be hosting. My only down side is I’ve only just found you!! Gutted I didn’t find you earlier. I do also like ponies and mermaids!! Listening all the way from Madeira Island Portugal and I’ve spread the word to family and friends in the UK. Ps I would love to see a video of someone actually doing the photocopier test 😂🤣

Didn’t think crime and comedy went together but these two make it work and it is amazing! They provide so much detail about the cases but as because they add comedy it keeps you listening as they do not drone on and on! If you love crime and got a dark sense of humour this podcast is definitely for you!

Meticulously researched by James Pietragallo, the cases are interesting, the additional information regarding the town sizes, house prices etc are great & really help you picture where the crimes happen. The banter between the two is fantastic. Get listening.

I'm usually a MFM listener, and Gen Why, and this is exactly what I needed after listening to everything. Hadn't heard of this one til recently, late to the party, but I'm definitely a fan.

I absolutely love this podcast!! My girlfriends father introduced this to me when I went to visit her in Asheville about 2 weeks back, since coming back it’s all I have been listening to and I have been telling all my friends and family about this podcast!!

If you like dark humour and want a unique take on true crime, this is an excellent podcast. I love the context of the information on the towns where these things take place and mostly it’s really funny without being offensive.

Love how these two are able to be funny but also respectful towards to victims and their families.
