To be honest, I mostly listen to hear Graham be mean to Carole. But the rest of it’s pretty good too. Very informative, kind of sweet, incredibly funny.

I listen every week; this podcast is a great balance of informative and topical security stories with other fun and nonsense.

The regular hosts Carole and Graham are great, and the guest hosts keep it varied and interesting.

Brilliant stuff and can we have Zoë back soon please!

This podcast is just hilarious. Not only because the hosts are funny but the topics they talk about are unbelievably crazy to think they actually happen! Trust me, I’ve seen it! I’m putting a link to this on our intranet and so should all IT bods.

If you can put up with Graham’s occasional tendency to burst into song, this is the podcast for you! I’ve listened to every episode and have found each of them to be extremely informative while also being fantastically entertaining. It’s difficult to take a fairly boring topic and make an addictive podcast from it, but Carole, Graham and the regular guests do this incredibly well. Listen now, you won’t be disappointed!

Security isn't traditionally the funniest thing to talk about but this pod is hilarious and informative in equal measure.

I’ve been listening to Carole and Graham since they were at Sophos and had one of the first security podcasts. They are very entertaining and have some great guests. The work great together as hosts and keep the podcast very entertaining.

This podcast really is great, Graham and Carole make the topics funny and intresting and the guests are always good. I even reached out to Graham for some advice on my journey in to the Cyber Secuirty industry and he came back with some help, what more could you want from a podcast! Please keep doing what you`re doing and Merry Christmas to you both.

Of all the podcasts I’ve subscribed to, Smashing Security is the one I look forward to listening to each week the most. It’s well produced and presented, and it’s equal parts entertaining and informative. Even if you have only a minor interest in cyber security, you’ll enjoy this pod. Ive heard quite a few secruity podcasts most are fairly tedious and dry, perhaps because they are produced for people that work in computer security, this podcast its aimed at people with an interest in secruity but not professionals, I have never laughed during at a secruity podcast untill Smashing Security, however the humour does not get in the way of the content

Granham and Carole are just the best pair with informative entertaining fun podcast

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while but have never got around to reviewing it, which is a shame.

OK, the presenter chemistry is a big part of the show - though the humour does sometimes get a bit schoolboy - but the immediacy of the podcast is what does it for me.

Barely a week goes by between cyber crises and these folks report on it all. Very much recommended.

Computer security might seem a dry subject, but not with Graham Cluley and Carole Theriault, and their regular guests. Plenty of serious useful information, but with plenty of humour as well – Schadenfreude a speciality. I started listening intermittently a few months back but try now never to miss an episode. Random printer intrusions add to the fun. ;)

It’s funny, it’s intelligent, it makes me smile, and after an episode I’ve learnt something - what more could you want from a podcast?

Smashing Security is an excellent show for everyone but especially for non tech listeners. They mix serious Infosec issues with whit and charm making it interesting and fun. Smashing Security are smashing it out of the park.

A very funny and entertaining podcast that discusses information security related issues. It's pretty much the only podcast covering this subject that I look forward to.

The presenters are both funny, but Carole is my favourite, sorry Graham! And thanks to Carole I'm now enjoying final space on Netflix, best pick of the week yet!

Great podcast. Amazingly the delivery is highly entertaining, with any nerdy content masked to the non-expert via comedy which is accessible to everyone. It’s amazing how stupid large companies can be after they’ve had a data breach.

I eagerly wait for this podcast to drop every Thursday and it never disappoints. A great mix of cyber security chat with a good amount of humour and a little juvenile smut and innuendo provided by Graham. The two hosts have a great chemistry and the guests are top notch. Keep it up! (Fnar fnar)

Creative, fun, informative, and addictive, G&C's podcast is a weekly dose of approachable info-sec news, great guests, and 'heads ups' on today's ever-changing security landscape. Rarely am I inclined to leave podcast reviews, but the sincerity and general 'good practice' guidance / discussion of this podcast is too good to not review. As a relatively recent addition to the Info Sec practitioner community, it's been great to share passion and resources with those outside of it - so thanks for making it so easy.

Plus, if you guys read this review out loud on one of them, I'll go and flick 20 people's ears until they similarly subscribe to the Smashing Security goodness :)

The best podcast called Smashing Security around. Every episode is full of great chat and useful security news and info and is always a pleasure to listen to. There has not been a bad episode ever. Thank you Graham and Carole!

Up to episode 14 and things have started to get better. The first 10 lacked any really useful content, and were more of a standup comedy act. Recent speakers have added some interesting technical content that the regular presenters tend to neglect.

The new sound track is terrible, please go back to the original.

Entertaining, a bit naughty and very informative. Can’t ask for more than that.

Glad they ditched Facebook. Small businesses channelling their client contact through platforms they have little control over is concerning. Definitely prefer old school - am sticking with email distribution lists :)

Its mix of humour and technical advice shared by Graham and Carole on their podcast is sublime and informative. They edge 1st place from The Infinite Monkey Cage which goes to show the level of my geekdom.

I can’t believe I’ve been listening to SmashinSecurity on my way walking to work on Thursday mornings for over a year now. I quite often get strange glances because is it looks like I’m chuckling to myself.

Informative yet amusing, and even some of the very technical issues explained taking into account that IT professionals are not experts in all areas of IT security.

As my grandad used to tell me, opinions are like podcasts, everyone has them.

Some make good points, some are barely understandable through a fog of drunkedness and inside 'broganigans'.

It's clear that Carole is the brains behind the operation, bringing a degree of credibility with her well-researched viewpoints that entertain and educate.

Graham is perhaps the quintessential British gentleman who has a knack for making your raise your eyebrows as if you've been bestowed with the knowledge of the universe even when stating the mundane. Once I get around to writing a book, I would pay Graham to record the audio version. Not in actual money of course - this review will hopefully serve as the downpayment.

This is a really easy to listen to podcast whether you’re in Cyber or not there are so many pointers you can take. The combination of nerdy Graham (sorry mate!) and awesome, potty-mouthed Carole really works so well.

It is a very good chemistry between the hosts. It is very entertaining to listen to them.

When I get asked about internet security I say, "if its been discussed by Smashing Security it's important, if not then dont worry about it."

Informative, funny and educational. Great podcast. Carole is amazing.

My go to podcast for a lighter look at "cyber" security.

I like many go to Security Now for deep dives into the tech of security. Now along side that I also listen weekly to Smashing Security. Graham, Carole and guest often cover the Security news from a professionals point of view, but with the end user in mind.

Guests are always excellently chosen, and the show fun and informative. I hit subscribe before I'd even finished listening to my first episode.

I follow a number of InfoSec podcasts but this is easily the most pleasant and entertaining. The guys pick out a few noteworthy news items and subject them to an amusing debate which can be more thought provoking that the dryer approach characteristic of other channels.

I can honestly say that I have never heard such an entertaining and informative podcast. Please keep them coming - I am going to tell all my friends and family about this!

For technical serious security... we have Steve Gibson and SecurityNow 🤓.

For whimsical "don't take yourself too seriously" security, we have Graham Cluely! 😂

Smashin Security is a great podcast that, in my opinion, sits well in the spot between information for both security professionals and those with a passing interest.

The team have a really good dynamic and the podcast is full of humour as well as security info. Graham's laugh itself is worth listening to the podcast for.

My one small criticism is that the podcast is just too short. Given the amount of things happening in the world of security these days, I think this could easily become an hour podcast (which, selfishly, would also help my CPD requirements!! Lol!).
