NeoScum is a future-fantasy comedy podcast featuring five Chicago improvisers antagonizing their way through the roleplaying classic, Shadowrun. It follows a group of misfits and outsiders: a chromehead decker, a teenage candy-junky klepto, a kid's show wizard with a petulant thirst for adventure, and the nastiest trucker this side of the robo-Mason-Dixon. Join the irascible NeoScum crew as they make their way across a strange but familiar America in 2077, doling out street justice to every deeb they encounter – whether they deserve it or not.
NeoScum is Blair Britt, Mike Migdall, Gannon Reedy, Eleni Sauvageau, and Casey Toney. Check out NeoScum on Twitter (@NeoScum), Reddit (r/NeoScum), and at NeoScum.com.

Honestly can't recommend this one enough. Great story, great characters, fun people, may honestly be one of the funniest things I've ever heard. So good. Defo a raunchy sense of humour so don't jump in unless you can handle that, but if you can, definitely check this one out.

Robo-Hogs & Wizard wack-offs
This show starts off buckwild, like a cyber-truck gone rogue, then continues the pace with fast jokes and even faster story beats. No moment is wasted for laughs and yet still manages to keep its sincerity when it does reach an emotional peak. (Tech Wizard is personally a favourite in terms of storytelling)
Here's hoping the NeoScum crew keep creating such a fantastic podcast and ride Xanadu to her final stop!
(It's also worth noting that this show has a distinct lack of 'pus' jokes, which I appreciate greatly ;D)

(Dak) Rambunctious mayhem
NeoScum is a miracle child borne from an orgy involving Blade Runner, Bright, Mad Max Fury Road, Neuromancer and several early 2000’s children’s television shows.
This is, unsurprisingly, a winning combination!

One of the Best
The pacing of rpg's like this is always a little too slow, what with tabletalk and general rules lookup but these guys have managed to keep this game going at a pace so far (ep.7). They're very familiar with each other, their senses of humour work well together and the GM is not afraid to let one of the players take over for a narrative moment. Damn good group.

Dak-tastic
Came for the absurd banter, stayed for the compelling character arcs.

Ramble on, you crazy diamonds
For most shows that are only an hour(ish) long I usually loathe when the players go off on a tangent instead of getting down to business - but I could listen to these guys really dig deep (sometimes literally) into what exactly goes on behind the bathroom stall of each of these characters for days and days.
I just gotta know, Dack, could I join your merry little crew?

Hilarious
I’m still only on episode 7 but this is one of the funniest podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Brilliant work by the whole team.

One of the good’uns
It’s great, Really good blend of humour, improv, actual role-playing (rather than just explaining what characters are going to do), and keeps up a good pace.
Most importantly, it’s a load of friends being silly, and it works!

This IS the podcast
It's great, it's good, it's manic, it's panicked - dirty, nasty n filthy and sweet as an angel. It makes things better.

NeoScum? More like NeoFUN!
Funny, irreverent, charming.
These are words. I apply them to this podcast.
If you like your actual plays grimdark, this probably isn't going to float your boat or pour your tipple. If instead you like a laugh and a parade of nonsense by some of the funniest people in podcasting, then you're going to enjoy this.

Help I can't stop laughing
These guys are hilarious, and the story they're telling is fun, fast-paced, and entertaining. They've built eclectic and ridiculous characters that keep the laughs rolling in one after the other. If you're going to listen to a shadowrun actual play podcast, this is the one.

Listen to it.
Do it, you won't

Scummer Lovin, had me a blast
This real-play Shadowrun podcast is hilarious, smoothly edited, convincingly performed, bizarrely compelling, highly addictive, and makes surprisingly good use of a saxophone.
Every new episode is a delight, chock-full of quips, twists, jokes and japes. The players are generous and non-competitive with the laughs, creating some of the funniest improv I've ever heard, and the GM is not only hilarious but also incredibly adept at M-ing the G!
(Also, I love that awful English accent. It's so vague and incorrect but also somehow specific and uncannily accurate?? Please explain.)
Favourite podcast, 10/10.

Top bants and the fun.

Fun!
Great audio, tight editing and a fun cast. The goofs keep coming but they're always entertaining, and though it's a wacky version of the Shadowrun universe it's still got all the elves, trolls and weird stuff you'd want - just not always/generally so serious. I listen to a lot of Actual Plays these days and NeoScum has rapidly become a favourite, not least because of the tight soundtrack for the theme tune. Love it, love checking out the fan art and shout outs on twitter.

Already a favourite
NeoScum is an awesome Shadowrun actual play podcast. They're only six episodes in at time of writing but it's already a firm favourite of mine, alongside Campaign and One Shot.
If you're looking for a super serious Shadowrun game, this probably isn't it, but you should definitely listen anyway as it's hilarious, whilst still managing to include lots of cool, dramatic scenes. All the characters are really cool and the GM is equally so. The icing on the cake is the theme music, which is amazing; such a good choice!
